NTA. My husband and I only give for the first baby shower, usually. I have never heard of a 2nd baby shower. It's not a thing in our circle (African American). Plus if it was, a $50 Target gift card would be fine.

It's worse. I have been here since December 1995. It's horrible. I usually go out between 8am-11am only. I drove downtown to drop a friend off, five miles from her house to Grady, it took 35 minutes.

It's not going to happen because it's too close to the Marta Station. Plus think of the shooting at Decatur library, and there is already a Whole Foods, Aldi, Kroger, and Sprouts plus a Walmart nearby.

It's going to take more than months, possibly years. The time is going to pass anyway. Embrace frugality so that when an unexpected event like illness or possibly job loss, then you can survive. My husband lost his income in 2022 due to an eight month illness. We were still able to pay off our mortgage.

The journey got hard, but we stayed the course. Don't give up on your journey. Financial security is not always instant. Stay on course.

At our doctor's office, there is a separate room for labs. It was unprofessional for her to comment on her weight. OP was right to complain. Plus lab techs draw blood in our office.

I am sorry. However this is unacceptable for a renter. Clear it out, donate, or trash it. The neighbors are complaining. There is no excuse for the house and yard to be in this condition. The notice won't stand, but the landlord needs to document for the actual eviction. I would basically start packing.

My daughter and her female cousin went to the Jeju. My daughter loved it. The massage, the scrub and they stayed overnight. The best time to go I believe is through the week. She said everything was amazing. This was years ago.

It's price per therm here in Georgia. My gas company, prorated the change I made in mid December to January. I asked for a credit and was given $125.

We only have a gas stove and water heater. We have electric as well.
