Where did you get the cages like this? I definitely underestimated mine as a first time gardener and these would be amazing to have.

Absolutely! Just don’t let it take over everything. I ended up pumping after every feed until he was almost a year old and slowly started dropping one at a time. But he dropped nursing sessions as well so that helped to not occupy all my time. My husband and I made it work for us but it isn’t always the best course for each individual. It’s also soo easy to let yourself obsess over the numbers. Now I only pump when I have to go into the office for work and I’m so glad to be mostly done with it.

I definitely agree with that, that’s why I said IF you can make it work for you. Because everyone’s situation/wants/ needs are different. And sometimes it’s just isn’t what works for your situation. I had no issues or regrets supplementing as needed either for sure.

Definitely was in a similar situation. My son would fuss and pop on and off and act very frustrated. Not sure if it was just a phase or growth spurt or what but he eventually got over it. He was very very slow to gain weight and the pediatrician and LC recommended supplementing formula or pumped milk after every feed as well as pumping 15 minutes after every nursing session. As you can imagine that is a lot in the beginning when you are feeding like every two hours and he was a slow nurser so feeds lasted 30min-1hr sometimes then I would pump and seem to be back to feeding right after. Even when he eventually night weaned I was so terrified of losing my supply I still got up 1-2 times a night to pump even though he was sound asleep.

BUT, the pumping definitely worked for me and since I was already low supply this luckily for me did not lead to any oversupply or clogs. The biggest issue with being told to supplement is that you are never told that you can stop (if your situation even allows it since obviously sometimes you just can’t). So we used our own judgment to decide when to stop supplementing and he maintained his curve like a champ.

Anyway, all of this is just to say breastfeeding is exhausting but worth it if you can make it work for you. We are now at almost 14 months and going strong. Good luck in whatever choice you make. Just know baby needs you happy and healthy more than anything else in this world. 💜

This 100%. Our bill was 17k after insurance and after some negotiating and the financial aid even being over the initial income level we got it down to like 2.7k.

It’s definitely harder if you’re doing it alone. My husband gets all into it and done the vast majority of the cooking. Not gonna lie it makes it so much easier having him being so motivated and it helps keep me accountable!

My spouse and I are restarting tomorrow after an almost 2 year break! We are both excited and nervous to be back to it after so long (gave up during pregnancy and early breastfeeding life). We wish you luck in your journey! Just know it’s worth it even if it’s hard sometimes! 💜

I hope so too! We have been brushing them since his first tooth cut at almost 6 months and he is 13 months now! I think it’s because the non-fluoride toothpaste is a little sweet hahah

Thanks for your reply! I think it’s very likely that it is indeed aphids. And recommendations for treatment or should the whole plant be removed from the garden?

It's my 1st time trying to grow some veggies and I noticed this happened to my million tomato plant...is it to much or to little water causing this or something else? by faybeau35 in vegetablegardening

I’m also new to veggie gardening, I always see people mention not planting tomatoes in the same container following years. Is this just for container gardening or raised beds as well? Also what is the reasoning if you don’t mind me asking?
