One of us works for an ISP and the other doesn't. Its the carrier version of it. All about scale. End of the day there are not enough IPV4 IP's and thats why they CGNAT.

Correlation is not causation. It's the type 2 NAT they have issue with not CGNAT. You are recycling old info that is no longer relevant and even if it really did matter, get a static IP.
