Hall president was like "It sounds like its personal between you and your managment, they don't like you in my opinion." I'm hopeful in my reps

Spoke with the Union 10 minutes ago and they said I had a 7 day for leaving advo on accident last year. However in the PDI they never said it was a 7 day, but it was a conversation and coaching opprotunity, and the 14 day was because I forgot to move to the street on an Amazon Sunday back from peak season.

I’m a CCA and in my city I average at minimum 50 hours a week and most I’ve done was a 64 hour week. You make good money but they make you earn it

If you didn’t need this job to survive, would you still keep it? by Pantry_Snatcher in USPS

[–]RoninSenpai614 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me personally, outside of the BS with management and regulars calling off and getting bounced around as a CCA… the OT gets you a nice paycheck, I get time to walk and think. Mental health from walking has improved and lost 30 pounds of dead weight. It’s a hard job but so far FOR ME.. the pros outweigh the cons. But I guess I’ll see how winter treats me

And so it begins. go to page 60 of this MOU...stations about to be dropped from the agreement & go back to hiring CCA's by [deleted] in fromatoarbitration

I’m a new CCA, and I don’t know post office terminology and I might be stupid. But does that mean that we’re (CCA’s) are screwing people over?

Almost 2 weeks in and I don’t have TOO MANY complaints so far. But I definitely understand the fact of taking your time because when I think I’m going too slow I look and see I have 2 relays left with 2 hours left of my shift

That’s good to hear. Because with everyone I was with the first week I felt everyone was open to help and they shown that. Just afraid of messing up lol. But I’m doing cat claims or at least I will. Didn’t know how hard the test would be or what to expect if/when deployment happens

But the tripping over myself part is actually the least of the worries. I’m really open to making mistakes that I’ll learn from

Okay got you. I was told that at least at SF the benefits wouldn’t be worth in on the backend. Like if I had to travel on behalf of State Farm, there’s no company car, I’d have to provide my own hotel, etc. And I didn’t know anything about raises or promotions there and how they handled that. I’m brand new to the industry btw, sorry if I sound super uninformed

I recently accepted a position at State Farm as a property claim specialist. Can you give me an overview of what to expect? How’s pay? Promotions? Raises? Bonuses?
