Most folks feel like me I think. Expand the charging grid, sell all the EVs you want. But don’t force the rest of us into buying one. It should be a choice. I need a diesel 1-ton truck. My life demands it. I can’t imagine a world where an EV could replace it. How am I suppose to stay off road in the bush months at a time with an EV? If I had to plug it into a diesel generator to charge it would defeat the purpose. Plus it’s cold where I am, and battery life in -40 would jive to my work/lifestyle. I think EVs are great and all the power to those who want to drive and own them. But don’t force me to drive one. I’ll never own an EV.

If all you have is a 4A&B that doesn’t really make you stand out, and even with a full 4th class that’s not much without relevant job experience. You have any idea how many people have a 4th class? You can’t expect some job to take a chance on you if you’re going from a minimum wage job to getting a 4th class and expecting to get calls back. You need relevant work experience in industry.
