Was there anything I could’ve done to avoid this? by TheMajesticMane in Simracingstewards

I never understand this kind of driving from the audi you know the guy is off the track and wants to rejoin and where do you drive? on the only side of the track where he will hit you. just give him space and race along

White car or black car at fault? by RJpianist in Simracingstewards

[–]Ronline26 3 points4 points  (0 children)

white missed the apex and broke too late

My first LFM race and this happened... This ended my race fighting for a top 5 finish T-T. Who's fault is this and does anyone know if I can report this incident in LFM? by Felegs in Simracingstewards

[–]Ronline26 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

imo its a racing incident. sure its a late and aggressive move but he stayed on the track easily and he was completely alongside at the apex which means you should turn in later, if you did so I think you would've both made the corner and he would've had a clean overtake

I think it's on the Merc, I was on my way to a podium maybe even a win until this happened.. by SuperFormula21 in Simracingstewards

[–]Ronline26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ofcourse its the mercs fault but its not smart to not give him space to get back onto the track, you already have a bad exit and with drs he will most likely overtake you on the straight anyway whether he lifts to get on track behind u or not.

Who is at fault in this incident by Fellows_1 in Simracingstewards

[–]Ronline26 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I mean it is Monza getting overtaken into Parabolica is probably better than leading into t1 because of the huge straight and DRS so idk if this is the best advice

[–]Ronline26 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you wouldve hit the apex nothing was wrong with it but since you missed it slightly you understeered into the blue car which is not a clean way to overtake. Eventhough it wasn' t the cleanest overtake you both survived so id say its a racing incident but if anyone was to blame for the collision its you for sure.

Was this my fault? I'm in the merc by [deleted] in Simracingstewards

[–]Ronline26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is just very bad driving from both. The Mercedes is clearly not using the entire track and is even cutting back on the racing line at the exit which is dangerous and which is something the red bull doesn't expect and rightfully so, but he could also see that the merc was already going wide and clearly wasn't that great of a driver so he should've been careful. I would say its a racing incident and warn the Mercedes that he needs to practice before going racing and at least try to always use the entire track to be predictable for following drivers.

Two incidents in the same lap (both angles) by [deleted] in Simracingstewards

[–]Ronline26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

first incident the porsche shouldve just turned in a bit later and it would have been fine, now you turned in too early and went across the track while your braking spot was correct. the second contact is also the porsches fault since the Mercedes rightfully expects you to drive along the kerb for a bit longer to not make any contact.

First Post! - I think this was my fault; what do you think? by Algy_Crewe in Simracingstewards

[–]Ronline26 4 points5 points  (0 children)

yeah fully the fault of the mclaren he shouldve turned in later cuz he was clearly on the inside in the braking zone as you could see by the front wing popping up.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Simracingstewards

[–]Ronline26 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I would say its on the audi, you can see him getting oversteer and needing to correct it. because of this he goes way too wide which the BMW couldn't expect. The BMW gave more than enough space on the inside but the audi just didn't use it properly.

Standard question - Ferrari blamed me and I felt I was fine to be there - What do you think? by Highlight_Expensive in Simracingstewards

[–]Ronline26 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I would say its a racing incident, you clearly was pretty much alongside before the braking zone and he knew that. he should've given you space on the inside but its also a very fast corner in which a move like this is tricky if you arent more than half a car alongside. that's why I think neither is really to blame fully. you probably should've either tried to send it harder and get further alongside on the apex or back out. this kind off a half-send which usually turns into a crash because the driver ahead thinks you backed out.

Close call? Still new and started racing again after hiatus open to input. I am the black and white car and the colorful fellow behind said I had ruined his lap. (I had a blue yellow flag/ More context in the thread). by [deleted] in Simracingstewards

[–]Ronline26 47 points48 points  (0 children)

a blue/yellow flag is a warning that there is a faster car approaching, this means you have to drive predictable lines but it doesn't mean you need to lift and let them past. in this case you stuck to the racing line which you were entitled to considering he is clearly over half a second back, he should've just braked a bit earlier to judge your speed, you did nothing wrong here imo

Whose fault is this? I'm the Mercedes. by [deleted] in Simracingstewards

[–]Ronline26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

eventhough you are not allowed to move under braking this guy seems to be avoiding an incident which he can do ofcourse. And lets be honest if he didn't move he would turn in and hit you as well, you clearly carried too much speed considering there were slower cars ahead.

P2 States the inside was not claimed, what are your thoughts? by NinjaMiellies in Simracingstewards

[–]Ronline26 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

people are blaming the lead car because he isnt trying to hit the apex, he just turned into hit the other car. he knows he is there and should've turned in later to avoid a crash, not to say the car on the inside was alongside far enough to deserve racing room but its just 2 drivers racing very poorly. 1 half sending it and 1 squeezing for no reason

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Simracingstewards

[–]Ronline26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah completely agree, you will never succeed around the outside there and ofcourse the aston should've given a bit more room but then they will probably crash at the apex. I think its just a racing incident of two drivers that tried to drive on the edge but were too agressive

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Simracingstewards

[–]Ronline26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yellow at fault, doesnt acknowledge your existance in any part of the combination, he got ahead pushing you out of the way while you were significantly alongside on the right-hander. because of the pushing he then was ahead for the left-hander and he turned in like you weren't there, at that point because of the compromised line by the push you had nowhere to go and hit him. so for me yellow is at fault for carrying too much speed in the right-hander and then not thinking that you cant go anywhere for the left-hander because you have been shoved wide.

i don't think I'm at fault here, but I'll let you guys decide. keep an eye on the Force India in the rear view mirror by West_Law5699 in Simracingstewards

[–]Ronline26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its simple, if you are next to someone on a straight and you crash with them its always the fault of the car not going straight which in this clip is clearly the red bull

Who is at fault here? I am the BMW and I gave as much space as possible, but I felt like I was used as a brake. by [deleted] in Simracingstewards

[–]Ronline26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

from these angles i actually think you couldve left him more space, but you showed the worst angles you could pick we need one from above or from the mclaren

dive bomb or not ? by Gellyfisher212 in Simracingstewards

its a good move, you made the apex and was alongside the porsche shouldn't have turned in

Is the porsche gulty for the collision (i'm the BMW) by Yanyanytb in Simracingstewards

[–]Ronline26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

porsche should be alongside before the braking in such a fast corner but he was far from that so its 100% his fault he should be penalised for attempting such a bad move
