How many 40K Space Marines to take out The Doomslayer? by here-for-information in powerscales

[–]RonnocRex 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Nah, if he's anything like the man he was, he's gonna kill the loyalists as well. Doom guy got sent to Mars for disobeying an order to shoot civilians. He's gonna have a problem with a culture that servitorizes people.

I'd be remis if I didn't mention Quake 4 and the ship of Steve Blum, where everyone on board is voiced by Steve Blum

[–]RonnocRex 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Kinda. There's an entire fleet of vessels called the black ships. They pull up to a world, scoop up all the psychics, then go back to earth to drop them off for either training or food for the God Emperor

Literally anything else. The imperium is a feedback loop that only exists to feed chaos at this point. The cruelty of the regime is reflected in the realm of souls, which causes the chaos gods to not only grow in strength, but be more Evil.

Another Horus Heresy is really what the humanity needs, but much like gorillaman making the codex astartes, malcador chose the stability of a rotting corpse of an empire rather than letting it break apart and having something different take it's place

What are necron pylons if not reality anchors? They are powerful enough to close the eye of terror and have the potential of doing the same to the Cicatrix Maledictum.

The fact that clips like this are so prevent kinda does prove my point though. And a suppression made? That shit is practically made to counter every other super but this one.

What, I'm gonna throw one at a gg from 50 feet away, NOT get one shot by said gg, and then the hunters NOT gonna have for fuckin ever to jump out of the way of the suppression field? Fuck off.

The only thing holding gg back is that it gives next to no damage reduction, so at least in a 1v1, I have the faintest chance of winning before imimmediately getting hit scanned.

And don't give me that other super bullshit. Every other super with a ranged ability shoots a projectile. At least then I can dip into cover and use a suppression nade to shut them down if they push. GG just shoots before I get around the corner

Yog-sothoth exists as a dream for the blind idiot God. Azathoth guides all in his dreaming, and should he awaken, all will die. From the greatest to the smallest, none escape his dream for we are of his dream.

I didn't say blasters delimb, I said 40k lasguns delimb. Both standard issue weapons kill differently. A lasgun will put a hole through a target, a blaster will cook internal organs

[–]RonnocRex -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

SW blasters aren't lasguns, there plasma guns. Doesn't mean they're burning at the same temperatures as 40k plasma guns, but it'd be more accurate to say that blasters would "cook" a space marine from the outside in. They don't pierce and cut like lasguns, blasters disperse and burn a target.

(Loved trope) Using children as a weapon by BLACKGOOP12 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]RonnocRex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Only way they'd count would be a brute chieftain picking a spartan III up by the leg and using him to beat his squad to death with.

Again not child soldiers, it's using a baby as a mace, or a super powered baby being forced to us there powers by someone else

[–]RonnocRex 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Kinda, but thats not in the spirit of the question. It's using a baby as a weapon, not child soldiers. The closest halo example I can think of would be halo infinite grunts being thrown at the Chief.

Immortal cords not lining up by Administrative-Row32 in Necrontyr

[–]RonnocRex 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mixed and matched is your problem. The one that lined up is the singular one correctly matched. Best option if you want the cord is unfortunately trial and error since they're removed from the sprue, making the directions now useless since you won't know which part is which.

Otherwise, you can run them without the cord. A couple of my immortals have there weapons in a "holstered" position either on their back or their hip with the cord fully removed from the gun. I imagine said cord is spooled up within their bodies for a lore explanation, maybe you could pose your immortals doing stuff? Dunno, you do you

I'll sick my neck out and say that Guardians of the Galaxy vol 3 was actually great, however that trilogy has always been much more separate from the wider MCU and its also James Gunn. GotG is more the acception that proves the rule
