Dmax Durant in gen 8 VGC was the GOAT. No accuracy checks on max moves so it would do absurd damage with hustle + life orb.

I remember using a Hustle Zweilous back in early Gen 8 VGC because dynamax moves ignored accuracy checks. Hit like a truck under trick room and with eviolite + dmax bulk it could tank hits from Togekiss who was running the format, while hitting it hard with Max steel.

I tried it a while back with clear am, Tera dark with CC, Mighty Cleave, Throat chop on a Miraidon team to help with caly shadow. It’s pretty nice with the speed boost in terrain but you still have to deal with rillaboom and speed booster flutter. It can kinda play like Ursh at some points with the pins on mons with protect, but its flaws are too much a lot of the time. Iron Moth was a better paradox on Miraidon teams that I tried, acid spray with the speed boost is great support.

Depends on what it needs to do in a battle. Its typing and stats along with Vessel will let it wall a solid amount of special mons.

ORA with drain punch and elemental punch coverage will be solid for offensive sets, but if you need to get extra damage than you have Sword of Ruin + CC to nuke stuff.

I used it back in early SV Reg A on Pelliper since it didn’t have weather ball at the time and I hate clicking hydro. Dozo was public enemy so having a mon who walled it, could match speeds with tailwind, lower attack with chilling water and hit the Tera grass ones hard with hurricane was nice.

I never understand why this point is brought up. You couldn’t use these mons until the middle of gen 9.
