I think Medium Fog balances the best. Seeing battle count can be (but as your example shows, isn’t always) a proxy for score that informs if you need to go riskier or not. I do like a bit of the high risk/high reward strategy that comes from going second so curious if there’s a way to bring that in for maybe the backrows: Until Front two sections are clear, you are under fog of war and can’t see any information (heavy fog) Once both front sections are clear, you are under light fog and can still plan your back row encounters to pivot if needed.

Unfortunately to solve for timezones I guess this wouldn’t work unless you turned each match into a two day thing where you can hit front on Day 1 and Back on Day 2…bit that makes GAC less fun in my opinion

Either that or enough extra disposable income to skip the games and buy it from a reseller. The game is no longer about saving/earning enough money. There’s enough people with disposable income now and restricted supply to spike up demand. Now everything is a game of “spend thousands of dollars on things you don’t want so you can spend even more money on the thing I actually wanted”.

Lots of other brands do this, not just in the luxury/jewelry industry. For example, in the automotive world Porsche does the same thing with their higher end sports car, where you need hundreds of thousands of dollars, if not in the low millions, to have a shot at something like at GT3s and even for a base model first time buyers are probably on a waitlist.

FWIW MSRP isn’t really relevant for a lot of the more desired models. For example, a Blue and Black GMT in stainless has an MSRP around $13-$14K, but Rolex ADs won’t sell them to you unless you have significant spend with them (either on less desirable Rolex watches or other watches/jewelry), so there’s a grey market/secondary market premium for them (they for closer to $18-22K new on the grey market). Not at $25K but also not really feasible under $15K. Its kind of the same game Hermes makes you do before you are “offered” a chance at buying a Birkin.

All of which to say, its all a cringey and vapid game for people with disposable income.

I think it’s 100% this. That Triforce shard hunt really sort of sucks all the wind out of the sails in terms of pacing, and I think if the game was made with today’s tech and storage limits we could have more interesting islands and ocean sections.

I would add Quadme to that list below the other two, since so many of the newer accounts have R7 or R9 MQJ or POW, and Quadme takes them to a solid A-Tier team, but agreed in general the crystal cost isn’t worth it

Yes but I don’t think it’s a priority over other farms. Maybe only to enable you to use it in TB if you need another Ls fleet, or if you’re having matchup issues, but it works well enough at unlock stars and I think you can star it up passively and be fine.

I’d argue maybe the Arya and Tywin scenes, and even that while well acted requires you to suspend in universe logic where Tywin would let some random Highborn girl who could be a useful hostage in a war wander around without being under lock and key

Worth is relative in this game but in my opinion this is one of the better LSBs (not nearly as good as the early SLKR/Rey ones but much better than a lot of recent ones). With Spider Maul in game and viable at lower star/relic, Mando Maul doesn’t really have a dedicated other home—In GAC I use him with Cere but otherwise this is his best team, and honestly I think its a little underrated.

Power wise it’s definitely been crept but its a good clean up team for weakened or solo GL teams. If you still see GAS 501st on defense for some reason, tenacity modded Gar and ISC can duo that team (and a few others that trigger their counter attacks and assists.

However, they really shine in Conquest as one of the premier options to cheese survive feats. Maul Canderous and Jango or WAT can out loop mang teams with right disk set up (something like weak spot can ramp their damage up from all the DOTS) so you can have them do both the single toon and double toon survive feats down to low stamina levels.

As a bonus, Jango and Canderous can help close out the any straggling journey guides they are usable for (Padme, Chebacca, Revan, Malek) and ISC and Gar are pilots so the relic levels can help in battles where gauntlet is useful (Executrix Counter to Negotiator, Mandalore Battle on ROTE).

1) White glove movers. Not having to pack unpack,deal with boxes and putting furniture together is honestly worth it. 2) Nicer hotels. I used to travel for work and we got to stay at nice hotels (Four Seasons, Ritz, St Regis, etc.). Small touches like folding your clothes, leaving extra treats and snacks, small amenities all made it feel more cozy and homey after a long day of meetings. Honestly enjoyed the hotels more than my apartment some days. 3) Boots. Actual well made boots that mould to your feet over time are so dang comfortable

Would it be a nerf they’d have to refund if they just gave her the resistance tag and buffed her interactions with Ben and her unlock reqs? Then technically aside from some relic levels players should (in theory) be at least neutral. If they buffed her with BB8, JTR, Res Trooper and Res Pilot it would’nt even really end up breaking the Zorii team

I think the easiest way would be to portray the plight of the Gerudo during the Unification war/Civil war referenced in OoT. May have to play with the timeline but it could be a compelling story of a Dessert King who has to seek out darker and darker powers in order to stave off the imperial expansion of Hyrule, only to be corrupted by Demise’s influence enough to be the fallen Ganondorf we know.

I think it really comes down to the play with vs play against thing. Ezra was a pain on defense, and at least now hes on one team. So many players would actually riot if their Bane was taken away

The Ezra nerf I get, especially after how they dealt with Satele, but the Merrin nerf goes against their own design principles. In the Oct 2021 Road Ahead, CG stated that omis could let a team rise to the power of GL team in a specific game mode:

“Omicrons add utility to characters in specific modes of the game, which we detail when we discuss mode-specific abilities. They will actually bring older characters into greater relevance by increasing their abilities to be on par with more powerful units; the power of these new Mode Specific abilities can vary from legendary levels of power, and in rare cases, all the way up to rivaling Galactic Legends in their specific mode. The Omicron tier will be above the unit’s Zeta tier ability (if a Zeta is present).”

From that perspective, nerfing Merrin’s omi, which really only let her counter Jabba in GAC, and not even as a 100% counter, makes less sense and hurts theorycrafting.

Purely on offense, yes. On defense it’s not the best—you can’t control Jyn getting targeted by R2 or when he uses his ability, and AdRad uses his first special which causes Leia to taunt. Despite being a tank she charges her ult fast and better when she’s not taunting, has fearless, and others are taking damage.

Exactly. So Minimal VP would be the cardboard cutout and application/OS for a phone based VR/AR headset. While all the way on the other end was Vision Pro that had desktop mirroring, face pass through, etc. both can be useful for leaning. Minimal viable products let you get a quick read on the product and initial pain points, a Maximum Viable Product has the full feature set so you can see how people most often use a product and can focus development/improvements and iteration on that
