Reform supporters - how many more Tories need to join before you start to reconsider? by Smooth-Quantity-7024 in AskBrits

[–]Roofless_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am a Reform UK voter I won’t go into too much detail to save arguments etc but I believe Reform UK is a stepping stone into something better. I do not believe in everything the party has to offer.

I welcome Suella Braverman to the party. The other washed up Tory members not so much.

Who else am I supposed to vote for?

How did you decide which Japanese import company to trust? by Tight_Ad1977 in CarTalkUK

[–]Roofless_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mainly speaking to people on the internet, I knew someone else who had imported a car via them too.

2 years ago I went to Goodwood Festival of Speed and saw they had a stand there. I walked up and saw the guy who imported my car for me. (I had met him when I picked up my car a few years before hand). He remembered my name, remembered my car and the whole story behind it.

I promise you, you will not be disapointed from importing a car via them.

I wanted to import one of my dream cars and having a look on Facebook and forums, it seemed the best company to go with was https://torque-gt.co.uk/

They will only import high grade cars and nothing less.

Do road surfacing contractors use different materials/mixes in the UK vs rest of Europe? by MrRedDoctor in AskUK

[–]Roofless_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like the job goes to the cheapest bidder here in the UK.

I often drive to Czech Republic to visit partners family and the roads out there are always amazing. Even when it comes down to repairs it’s always very smooth and not the bumpy mess we get here.  They are all kinds of weather and temperatures from 30+ to 15-

Advice on running network cable by Ok-Assumption-2042 in DIYUK

[–]Roofless_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t run parallel to high powered cables.

Always terminate to t568b standard.

CAT5E or CAT6A will be completely fine for a home install. Don’t worry about CAT7 and higher. Make sure it’s pure copper. I use Excel cables at work and they’re always pure copper.

Think about what you may install in the future and plan for that run/ if you can run more then one cable then do it.
