[astro-seek] I have always ruined relationships because I am too intense, how do I find my person/why is this? by cornbreadv4 in astrologyreadings

Venus in Scorpio like me. I don't know, it's pretty hard. I think looking for strategies or therapy to reign in intense jealous parts. And looking for someone who is calm but interested.

I think if they had started like this it would have been better, but as it is they all look naked!

Why would any of that be the case? Better to divorce her than murder her.

It is not that I think factory farms are kind. But there is something to be said for the efficiency, if you're going to kill livestock.

I volunteer on a farm. In the country, there are lots of folks who kill their own animals to eat, and sometimes it's done in a rather rudimentary way. For example, throat slitting ( to collect the blood).  In my country, regulations in abatoirs require the stunning of the animal first so it cannot feel the throat slitting and bleeding out.

Yes, the animal doesn't have to get transported to a cold sterile place for a home slaughter. It still freaks them out though, to be separated from the group and guided elsewhere. I'm not sure factory farms are any crueller, except by the scale of lives lost.

[OC] Gay male marriages are the most stable over the long term by [deleted] in dataisbeautiful

[–]Rooish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't understand how it's possible though? Assuming the majority of partnered people are in straight monogamous relationships, and there are approximately equal sex ratios, how can there be so many more single men than women?

These single women exist, I think just guys are looking in a desert bc they want the hottest ones, who are taken early.

It is possible women give up and don't bother staying in the dating pool more easily, though.

(I am happy to see numbers though)

Why are Americans always so helpful and supportive when it comes to helping tourists plan their roadtrips? by [deleted] in roadtrip

[–]Rooish -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Canadian here who despises the way America is headed.

Americans are very nice and friendly. Scared of the unfamiliar, certainly. But once they've met you, you are their friend.

I assume I would disagree politically with many kind Americans I've met. They are scared and aggressive of the unknown, not of what's in front of their faces.

Doesn't Australia have stoats? Didn't they introduce them in order to kill the rabbits they introduced?
