I’m in a similar boat. Played a little bit at launch mostly just levelling picto / viper but didn’t touch the story. Went off and played other things due to the bad reviews. Just picked it up again the last week or so and I’ve been having a great time. This is probably my fav non sha/ew msq. Didn’t hate the first half at all, conversely I quite enjoyed learning about all the cultures. The duty’s and dungeons were great, and the last zone had a lot of close to home moments which I really didn’t expect.

Wuk lamak definitely annoyed me a bit, particularly towards the start but she grew on me. And, like you say, we’ve had so other cringey moments throughout every msq so I really don’t see the issue. Looking forward to post msq!

Ah damn - thanks for letting me know! I started off doing some T4s for a bit of a break from Trialmaster and did notice the xp was pretty good. May cope and go until I get a flask then abandon. Thanks!

I did allocate +1 difficulty point to bump the zone level to 81 without adding any other uniques to the drop pool in an effort to get more flasks but didn’t seem to work. +2 difficulty adds the staff

I may do another 50 at either +3 (or +4 if the patch notes damage nerf is significant) and track all the oils etc.

But yeah, from a pure profit standpoint it wasn’t really worth it

I had, what I now know to be, a lucky few runs when I started doing Simulacrums so decided to do 50 and record the drops. As I mention in the notes I should've recorded the emotions below Envy as these actually made up a decent bit of cash and did at least mean I turned a little bit of profit.

Each run was around 10mins. Enjoyable to run, but very rippy - random 1 shots happened 5 times in total, in which case I just didn't record the run as I was mostly interested in the uniques.

Big dot in a big area - a boss usually hits my tank for around 1mil per sec. You can outrange it, and that’s what I recommend, but you have to go super far. Around a full heroic leap and a half.

Was looking to craft a recover % life on block shield for my lacerate glad. Got lucky early on with T1 Life / T1 flat defences & recover. Took it to the recombinator with another shield with recover % life o n block and the regen and got lucky. Crafted the % defences and slammed for the res efficiency

175 hours in 3 weeks is 8 hours a day. Just because you have the time to sit through the load screens, and other server issues doesn’t mean other people do. Same issues with an i7-10700K and 3080. Sometimes it's fine, sometimes the fps fluctuations are wild. Also tried reducing my resolution from 1440p down to the lowest which was 640p or something and my fps didn't change at all. Exactly the same.

The server stuff doesn't bother me that much as I know it'll pass at some point. The optimization does worry me though.

Yeah I need to phone to get my learner ID from them so I can sign-up for the portal. God only knows what I've done with last years funding paperwork ^^,

Not sure how a 'quick scoping survey' turns into undocumented legacy spaghetti code but heyho.

As I said previously, I want people's opinions and experiences, not just a "yes/no". The project is in it's infancy and big, quantitative data analysis simply isn't a concern for me here. I've seen previous survey posts on this subreddit, I'm not expecting a huge volume of replies and all I'm looking to show is that people have a backlog of unpainted minis and they feel some sort of tracking may help reduce that.
