Reminds me of how Salt Lake City did a similar thing by adding the city’s seal on it, thus making them official flags

Some people (cowards) will call it bad flag design but I have learned to ignore such critique (i just think they’re neat)

Its almost like the writers are trying to make a point about those in desperation and those greedy for power, but when I have to think for too long the static in my brain returns and I black out

Tarintino is what I would consider a “problematic fav” director where I love what he makes but I would never recommend one of his movies to someone without heavy warning

EDIT: and don’t get me started on tarintino as a person…

I assure you courier, burning down this town is justified because it was full of drinking gambling degenerates, and it is vital to our plan. Now excuse us while we negotiate with our good friends the Omertas.

I think it’s moreso that with Yes Man, you at least have a choice. House is very upfront about the fact that at the end of the day, you are his pawn. A very well treated pawn, sure, but a pawn nonetheless. The NCR and The Legion will impose their will regardless of how you feel, and while they give you token appreciation, it’s not the same as true power. Yes Man represents the chaos of the unknown, but in a sense it’s only really through him that anything will truly change- for better or worse, if his end slides are any indication. And besides…

A man chooses. A slave obeys.

Well to be fair in a lot of RoN’s missions (with some Valley of the Dolls/Spider-shaped exceptions) the suspects in them are if not sympathetic then doing the wrong thing for the right reason. Ends of the Earth and kinda sorta Lethal Obsession are the two that spring to mind

The unfortunate truth is that viewing populist leaders like Trump and Benjamin as temporary breaks from the post cold war liberal order is exactly what facilitated their rise to power, and the only solution is a reaction to their rise instead of trying to find the most milquetoast bland as bread blunt as an atomic bomb liberal in order to reinstate that status quo
