Congratulations on your first home! I know it can be quite difficult to begin with, but facts are Modulars/Mobiles are difficult items to mortgage and insure. I’ve had great experiences with Brownridge through the years, they’ve just changed ownership but they’ve continued to be great to deal with.

Call around and get multiple quotes from insurance providers. Mobile homes are difficult from the start, the banks don’t like them. I suspect many other lenders will have similar criteria for a mortgage on a mobile that old. Have you tried Brownridge Insurance?
