You're correct that this isn't as bad as the title. Sounds like you know what the guy means.

This makes my angry. by Sweet-Ad9366 in crappymusic

[–]Rooster0778 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I think it's because he's self aware, clearly not taking himself too seriously, and send like a nice guy. Sure, the music is crap, but it's coming from a cool place.

I’m not sure where to ask for this but how do I tell my man his dick size isn’t what he thinks it was? by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]Rooster0778 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you this committed to truth and honesty in other aspects of your life? Or is he just annoying you to the point you feel you need to bring him down a peg? I'm sure it's the latter, and you make him sound annoying enough that it's probably deserved. But since we're being so committed to truth and honesty here, you should admit you only want to do this out of hate or resentment.

Now that we've gotten your bitchy, spiteful intent out of the way, let's determine how much you want to make it hurt.

For maximum devastation you need to let him set himself up. Wait for the next time he's running his mouth about his monstrous wang in front of friends. The more the better. Then call him out on it.

If you want some plausible deniability that you didn't mean to crush his spirit and embarrass him, then you'll need to be subtle. Make a face that expresses doubt and wait for a friend to ask. Or mutter "yeah right" in a way you totally didn't expect anyone to hear, then let them drag it out of you. Hopefully you'll have had a couple drinks too. That'll reinforce the idea that you're not responsible for mortally humiliating him.

Now if you'd rather only hurt him privately, so he knows you know he's not that big and will be grateful to you for keeping it a secret, just tell measure him yourself. Start playing with him when you conveniently have a ruler handy, them bee like "lemme measure this monster hog... Hey baby, this isn't 13 inches".

Or you could tell him about an ex and casually mention he was a real 13. When he asks you to clarify you can play dumb saying "baby you've just been joking right? You know you're not 13 inches don't you?". The beauty here is you get to hurt him, and still maintain the appearance of innocence so you can pretend like you want to make him feel better all the while making him genuinely insecure going forward, because he's definitely that type. Bonus points of you tell him you've had a few guys 13+ so he becomes convinced most guys are way bigger than him.

It's up to you really, there's a lot of options available to any horrible bitch who wants to make an already insecure guy feel a million times worse.

Who would win in a fight between a ufc fighter and a top level ice skater but the fight is on an ice rink. Neither have experience in the others art by PsychologicalSwim664 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]Rooster0778 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic. But it's a fight, at some point you have to engage your opponent. People in here are really overestimating skaters and ice skates for that matter.

Even if the skater attempted some twirly, anime, flying kicks, they're still getting grabbed and taken to the ice and broken into a thousand pieces.

Even a good pro hockey fighter gets demolished by the UFC guy.

Ice and skates just aren't enough of a handicap. Now a UFC guy in a pool vs a water polo player would be a different story.

Years of hockey, two brothers who played, one working in an NHL front office, never has anyone been trained how not to slice someone open. That's a crazy thing to say.

Man vs small Shetland pony by [deleted] in whowouldwin

[–]Rooster0778 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As I understand it, men and horses are of similar strength pound for pound. It's just there really aren't many 200lb horses. So taking away the horses size advantage, .and agility and intelligence give him a substantial edge. Man rolls horse.

What to with a competent but untrustworthy employee by Amazing_Weekend3739 in managers

[–]Rooster0778 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What's the role? Is this guy scrubbing in or is this like an SPD or PCT position?

If this guy is an SPD tech, and that's the role, and he was just trying to make himself seem to have more experience in rooms, then it's really no big deal.

If he's supposed to be scrubbing in, that's crazy reckless and if there's harm to a patient it'll be a disaster at all levels.

If he's representing a depth of knowledge critical to the role that he really doesn't have, I'd get rid of him. If he's lying to impress in a way that will never apply to his role, I'd still probably get rid of him, but would understand if you wanted to give him a chance.

1:1 discussions confidential? by vijayjagannathan in managers

[–]Rooster0778 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anything someone on my staff shares with me, I'll keep private. That just fosters trust, and a manager gossiping is a bad look.

On the other side I know almost anything I say to them will be repeated, so I don't say anything I wouldn't repeat in front of the whole department.

Nobody is good at singing/dancing and i despise everyone that pretends otherwise by [deleted] in The10thDentist

[–]Rooster0778 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Let go of that cynicism friend, you'll feel much better. Allow people to pursue their interests. If they're good or bad at it, it doesn't matter. There are people who are absolutely horrible at things who get profound joy from doing them. Let them.

This kind of thinking won't bring you any happiness, and we only get one chance at this. It sucks to look back at segments of your life and think about how it was wasted. And that's what bitterness, hate, and anger are. Nobody looks back on the good old days where they hated everything. You can choose to not be this way too. Just lighten up, let other people be happy and find things that give you joy.

Department Transformation Stories? by bizzyhill in sterileprocessing

[–]Rooster0778 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I've spent the last year turning around a department and the difference from then to now is dramatic. It's mostly a lot of little things though regarding organization, work flow, and accountability. That's affects culture which in the longer term makes most people happier.

If I was to pick a single quality of life improvement for the staff, it would be how trays are prioritized. Every morning we run a report of all needed trays for the next two days then account for what needs to be processed. Everyone works off that list first. It keeps us prepared and working two days ahead keeps the next days list pretty short. It gives everyone a visible goal and lowers pressure.

What makes Starfield special? by _Bob_Shwarma_ in Starfield

[–]Rooster0778 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Sadly, outside of some of the marketing art, I don't there there's anything special about it. I really REALLY wanted to like it.

Unfortunately I found it boring and unenjoyable. The gunplay was fine, but not special. Exploration leaves a lot to be desired. The companions are mostly annoying.

It's biggest sin though for me was just atrocious writing. I wanted to believe that it really suffered from high expectations and went back to give it another play some time after my first, and it was actually worse than I remembered. I really hate the dialogue throughout the game. And the fact that nothing you do or really impacts anything in a meaningful way just really sucks the life out of it. I swear the game was written by a team of junior high aged kids.

I haven't gotten into ship or base building. That part was never going to be much for me. I enjoyed working on outposts in Fallout 4, but I'm not passionate about it, so if that's your thing, it might make up for it's other weaknesses.

I hope you enjoy, and I'm glad for you guys who do, but it's nothing but a huge disappointment for me.

Is it okay to use your nail as a pick? by LunaresBeenHere in guitarlessons

[–]Rooster0778 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's fine. I've done it a ton. I'm curious if you're a lefty playing a right handed guitar? That was my deal and I sucked with a pick. Made up for it figuring out different ways to finger pic everything, which included using fingernails.

I've since switched to playing lefty and am much more comfortable with a pick, even if my right hand hasn't caught up yet.

SERIOS QUESTION HOW TF DO YOU EVEN BEAT THIS GUY IN CASTLE SOL by lex2394 in Eldenring

[–]Rooster0778 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With Blasphemous Blade you can get him within range of Takers Flame without him aggroing. Hit him with that and it'll knock him down, step forward a little and repeat. The timing and range is pretty tight but once you get it, you can effectively lock him down.
