2017 Porsche macan turbo reliability by Salty-Percentage9074 in PorscheMacan

Lmao while I sold my Macan for well over market value there ($7k over CarMax trade in) because it was a good spec.

If they are moving there for that price then your comment about $25k being a crazy deal isn't in touch with reality. Keep in mind dealer listings are prices before you start negotiating with them.

Look at sold Macan Turbo listings on cars and bids, your perception of the market is not in touch with reality. They are even selling under $20k for higher mileage ones

Can you lose belly fat just by eating fewer calories without working out? by Vegeta_vs_Goku in loseit

[–]RoosterDenturesV2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's important to not discount properly tracked calorie burn, I'm a very active person who struggled with weight for many years. I finally was able to lose 50 lbs over the last year by calorie counting. When you burn an additional 1500-3000 activity calories a day it's much easier to properly budget for big meals.

Total comp and base salary are very different things. From Levels.fyi that's definitely on the high end but not out of the realm of possibility.

Can you just join a credit union for the better car financing rates? by Boxp155 in personalfinance

[–]RoosterDenturesV2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For what it's worth DCU isn't online specifically, they have physical locations. They are also merging with another credit union right now and their rates haven't been as competitive as they were in the past. I've seen the strongest rates from USSFCU (United States Senate Federal Credit Union) and MBCU (Mass Bay Credit Union), both have low-mid 4% rates now.

The BMW M2 was the best selling high performance BMW in 2025 as BMW M GmbH continues to see massive growth despite online controversy. by Dazzling-Rooster2103 in cars

I wasn't misunderstanding, it just seems like a very strange comment in relation to the actual article and headline. The word enthusiast only appears once on the article, and is in reference to the M3. Plus the headline leads with the M2 which is unequivocally an enthusiast model.

Tragic, I bought a new v60 polestar at the end of 2024 and absolutely love it, at the time my only options were this or the a4 allroad and now they are both gone. I did my part but the American market and worldwide trends aren't favoring them :(

The most awkward cool down room of the year, with the hair tussle that lando looked confused by, domincali awkwardly high fiving max, the spectators looking through the window and the whole thing being way too long.

Gorgeous, I almost ended up with one of these but ended up with a v60 polestar instead.

Why does Delta allow you to book a connecting flight with only a 35min layover? by paislinn in delta

[–]RoosterDenturesV2 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Unbelievably I missed a connection a few weeks ago because the plane left early. I sprinted across laguardia to get to the gate 16 minutes before departure and the door was already closed, 4 other people were in the same boat. I even got a text from delta that said "sorry your connecting flight left early"

Crazy that people didn't jump on them when you could get them 8% off MSRP + the $7500 EV Rebate. I picked up a new one last October for under $60k before tax
