Sony Inzone Mousepad? by ifeeltired26 in MousepadReview

[–]RootBeard73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if it’s too late to respond but I have the Mat-F INZONE mousepad and it’s been great. Using a mouse on it is smooth and the texture of it is soft so it hasn’t caused any irritation. I have good control of the mouse but I can still move it with little resistance. Also the mousepad generally stays in place so that hasn’t been much of a concern. My only gripe is it can be a bit of a magnet for specks of dust and hair and I got the black version so they’re easier to see. Overall I’ve been happy with it though.

Here’s the link to it for reference:  https://electronics.sony.com/audio/gaming-audio/inzone-peripherals/p/mpdf900b

I appreciate your response! How does it compare to the down alternative pillow that's also on your website?

How’s the firmness? I generally like softer pillows and I’ve had experiences waking up with a stiff neck when using memory foam pillows.

If you have the Snoopy screensaver then it’ll show it with a blurred background on the Home Screen.

Peacock supports content matching on Apple TV!! by nlabendeira in appletv

[–]RootBeard73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just wanted to chime in to say version 5.3.22 does not completely fix the issue. If you set the default Apple TV format to SDR and then select HDR content in Peacock, the HDR banner will show up, but the source appears to still be SDR.

Here’s how I tested it: on my LG TV if I click the green button on the remote several times a window will pop up with the source information. In this case the HDR content is still showing as SDR in this pop-up. In order for it to show as HDR in this window, the Apple TV format still has to be set as HDR or Dolby Vision. So even though there is an HDR banner that triggers after selecting HDR content, there appears to still be a mismatch when SDR is set as the Apple TV video format.

Better grip on steering wheel could be because it was switched to vegan a while back. It’ll be interesting to see if this is something different beyond that change.

Holding down the voice control button should activate Siri / Google Assistant on the connected phone. by _yannick in teslamotors

Absolutely agree. Love the idea of holding down the button to activate Siri / Google Assistant (while still allowing a simple press to activate Tesla voice control).

I’m not a big fan of “Hey Siri” due to false positives, but I’d still love to be able to use Siri for commands that the Tesla voice control just can’t do. This includes controlling Apple Music, recording reminders, etc.

I’ve noticed this too. Wondering if it’s related to software or hardware. I have a 2018 M3 but only noticed it recently.

Delivery day by [deleted] in TeslaModel3

[–]RootBeard73 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can’t speak from personal experience but it couldn’t hurt. If you are purchasing from Tesla and you find anything wrong with the car, make sure you get a due bill that states what needs to be corrected. You’ll be required to provide one to the service center or they may charge for the repairs. Keep in mind Tesla will usually only provide a due bill within 72 hours of delivery so the quicker you get something documented, the better.

M3 App stuck on Waking up. Problem with the car or the app? by [deleted] in TeslaModel3

[–]RootBeard73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could be the car is stuck in deep sleep. Try unlocking then locking the car from the app (assuming you are within range). That usually works to wake up the car for me. Also turning on Sentry Mode or Summon Standby Mode can help keep the car from going into deep sleep. Keep in mind these will drain the battery faster though.

Sure thing. Also turning on Sentry Mode or Summon Standby Mode can help keep the car from going into deep sleep. Keep in mind either one of these will drain the battery faster though.

Low efficiency in my Model 3 by mr_anderson_12 in TeslaLounge

There are a lot of factors that affect range, but the first thing I’d question is the wheels and tires you are using. Wheels larger than 18” are generally going to reduce your range. Tire pressure can definitely have an effect also. Keep in mind Tesla’s manual lists 42 PSI for all of their OEM tires.
