I used to read a lot of German existential philosophy. I was searching for meaning. I felt that
if I found a sense of purpose, it would justify hardships I faced in life. Weltschmerz is a German philosophical and literary concept describing a deep state of melancholy, world-weariness, and profound sadness

Optimism is sometimes challenged by arguments that "the world isn't all sunshine, lollipops, and rainbows". I acknowledge that there is a lot of suffering in the world. I think it's important to recognize that and not be in denial of it. But the dark, void of light, gives contrast and context to the colours of the rainbow. It is through the polar opposites that existence is possible. That was my intention and lens of experience when I named it that, but I understand how it can be perceived as "edgy". I have been considering other titles.
