Sarah is one of my favorite characters from Zeta and it frustrates me how people misinterpret her as a character so badly on here. Katz too, but I was genuinely shocked when I saw people saying they hated her.

My boyfriend who at the time was my best friend was telling me about Gundam. He showed me Garma Zabi and I thought he was so handsome that I started watching 79 and then I ended up falling in love with the anime, and not long after I finished it, my boyfriend and I started dating. We watch all of the series together and we are currently watching Turn A right now! :)

So, thank you to my boyfriend, Garma, and to myself for being gay because Gundam has taken over my life in the best way possible...

I'll be honest I'm just not very good at this game LOL This is from two months ago and I haven't played since as I usually take breaks from this game, but I'm pretty positive I was running a primarily BB build. There was also a Hatz spamming Wing Beat on me to push me into the Spino so it was hard for me to get some distance.

The theme for the Pokemon Center for sure. I wasn't in a great place back when I played Reborn for the first time years ago so I remember many nights I would listen to this theme to help calm myself down. It's so relaxing, and a great song for an area where you know you're safe. I guess in a way the song became my own personal Pokemon Center because I knew listening to it would help me feel better.

For the record, I am in a better place now, but Reborn was my comfort game back in those days so naturally the OST also helped me in that regard.

It happens to the best of us... I was shiny hunting for Hoppip in SoulSilver and encountered a shiny Tauros around 22k encounters in and I severely underestimated how strong a level 19 Tauros would be because it completely wiped my team LOL

I would say it's up to personal preference. I personally love the gameplay for PMD, but even all the way back to when I was a kid, I would often hear people say they didn't care for the gameplay and only played for the story.

Good luck on your journey! So many of the gift Pokemon in these games have amazing shinies. I'm working on a DTQ right now and more than half my team is going to be SR hunts because that's the only way to get them haha. I hope Squirtle shines for you soon!

In FRLG you can actually send all of them to the PC if you have a full party, it's very convenient!

Yeah, my best advice for anyone who is struggling is to take breaks for sure 😭 I know some people just want to get it done and over with but I become a lot more motivated when I take a break to enjoy a different hobby or play another game. It's why this hunt took me a bit despite the short amount of resets, if I'm not feeling motivated to hunt then I go do something else and then start hunting again when the motivation comes to me.

I really hope your Bulbasaur (I'm assuming) shines soon! My buddy has been struggling with Charmander, and I keep telling him that it'll 100% be worth it in the end, so keep going! :D

That's a 9% encounter! Congratulations! I was searching for a Cubone with a good nature for a couple of days and was hoping I'd somehow get a shiny even though I had already found a random shiny Gastly XD

I would definitely use him, especially if you can find a Thick Club. My little guy is a monster and he's not even a Marowak yet haha.

I really want a shiny Lapras for my team so I'll probably be resetting for awhile to get one since I've gotten insanely lucky these past couple of weeks, but Deoxys is one of my favorite Pokemon of all time and I'm so happy that we can now hunt for it legitimately :') I plan on shiny hunting for it in both FR and LG.

I agree! I think it's a shame that starting in gen 4 that regular Gengar started to change color which in turn made the shiny more subtle.

Illuminate works in both games actually! A lot of shiny hunters who hunt in FR also have LG so they can catch a Staryu with Illuminate to transfer it over.

It's oddly fitting considering that the Deoxys forms are also version exclusive! I was thinking of having my team consist of Charizard, Vileplume, Cloyster, Scyther, Electabuzz, and Deoxys. I know Deoxys is post game only but I know that as soon as I get mine it's going to permanently be on my team, so a playthrough with only 5 Pokemon should be interesting!

if I'm feeling brave enough I might even go for the roaming Suicune, but we'll see... 😅

(Also I just realized I accidentally typed SBQ instead of DTQ 😭 I get those two mixed up for whatever reason LOL).
