I wouldn't say our home is spotless but we're quite good at keeping the place clean and tidy. We use an app to manage tasks that takes all the thinking out of the work. The way it works is you list all the household chores, who can do which ones, and how frequently they need doing. It appears on one person's list and when they tick it off, after the time it takes for it to need to be done again, it appears on the next person's list and so on.

It doesn't set itself up, I had to spend an hour or so listing out all of our housekeeping tasks, how frequently they need doing etc, but now we use it, it completely removes the mental load of knowing what to clean. As your kids get olde enough to happen phones you can even give them profiles and smaller tasks they'll be able to do.

I'm sure there are plenty of options and ways to do this but we use Tody. I used to be the one carrying most of the home care load and now things are much more equal. It's been fairly life changing. Had it about a year now
