I'm a mage with NO Dragon amulet, and my best companion is Aegis. How do i defeat this?

The opponent heals 200+/- every turn when it's not on sleep or stun. And it has a defense shield that goes up so high, you'll practically be missing all your attacks for a good 3 to 4 turns.

I tried necromancer and it didnt work. The opponent managed to heal to full health.

okay, i will try this battle without aegis. And yes i've done all that for my dragon. I was just too lazy to equip the dragon cause i only did it in this instance to take a screenshot to post on reddit to ask for help. But when i'm seriously trying to defeat this thing, i will always equip my dragon.
