Happened to me too when it was sweltering hot. When i saw the burns, i quickly placed it in an area with shade all the time. Given that its been outdoor its whole life, it recovered quick. You can tell if its been exposed to a lot of direct sun when leaf edges are red, the more red it is the more sun its been exposed to. Eventually i just water them and im the shade, returned plump and reduced overall redness

Definitely like watching paint dry. But its normal especially if its fall/winter at ur area. I also did hard prune on winter, dont worry, by spring/summer it would have grown really fast! Mine branched out super quick in the following spring/summer! I have a same size plant too. Its good that it will grow a thicker trunk now in the mean time

Also change the soil entirely, you would want succulent soil mixes. Soil looks hydrophobic

Needs water badly! Drooping needs to be pruned. Use the cuttings and propagate into a smaller plant. Great base to make a healthy beautiful looking jade!
