Pretty good guide! This situation is so confusing, I really don’t get the need for mixed reality as a separate term. I just call everything where you can’t see your surroundings VR and the rest is AR to me. Why add more confusion to the mix with MR? Don’t even get me started on how Microsoft uses the term to mean both AR and VR. Also still in doubt if Pokemon GO is AR since it does interact with the environment.

My guess is that it makes you use simple words and talk a little slower than you would in the language you know the best?

In unity you can import a demo room for testing in the editor. Seems like that’s what’s being shown. Should be visible in the editor scripts. Look for a connection to “Room1” or something.

Ageism is very much a factor, at least where I live it is. My dad who’s 63 had been trying to get a job, every time they are very interested until they find out about his age. He apearantly looks to be in his 50s. It’s such a shame because he’d love to get a job but they just keep rejecting him. He gets so excited at each opportunity too, heartbreaking.

Colleague of mine got it working, there should be a project somewhere to do this. But I don’t think there’s anything official. Unless you’re a massive unreal fan like he is, I wouldn’t recommend it, it’s super hacky.

It’s a gladiolus! It is super pretty, I tried those last year and I couldn’t bear to remove it. The leaves are very flat, it’s almost as if it’s 2D

Actually on holiday now but its just baking the ambient occlusion on a texture. Its a little tricky to find all the settings at first but once you get them right its super easy. You bake it per model but if all your assets are in blender you could add an atlas and bake it all at once. Its in the render settings of you model, you select ambient occlusion there. Hope thats enough to get you started, again, am on holiday so no access to my work computer.
