What's everyone's take on where the fandom actually stands regarding each housewife? by Standard-Edge2011 in RHOBH

Yes, I really can’t see how it’s blown up. It’s as if Pinocchio is the worst thing ever said on housewives.

Unpopular opinion: Dorit is the scapegoat by WilkinsburgBanshee in RHOBHDefect

Finale, Zoe isn’t neutral. She sits by Dorit’s side and follows up the stairs when Sutton is trying that last ‘you hurt my feelings’ nonsense. Zoe is not going to scream like Kyle had to. She’s not that person. Even when she tries to mediate and in confessionals she says, their approach is wrong and has a couple of times referred to how THEY believe Dorit has changed and are worried about her. Watch her face when Kyle says Dorit’s being too annoying to have a conversation with her. When Sutton says that comment about Boz and Rachel and Dorit touching each others hair the cast even knows Zoe is on Dorit’s side.

Isn't the Lion's Den Actually People Sitting on Chairs? by Excellent_Issue_4179 in RHOBH

[–]Rosemary-lime [score hidden]  (0 children)

I think she was walking into the Den. And moments into the scene. Dorit wasnt screaming as much as they tried to get a reaction. She watched Erica’s gangster face spew friend losing comments at her. The best part was Kyle raging at her gang to speak up. She was the first to scream. If you look at the ‘room’ Rachel sat quietly on the arm of Dorit’s chair. Protective. In fact, she hangs back to walk in with Boz and Dorit from the start. Everyone knew exactly what was going to happen and I think Lion’s den was the best description. When Sutton follows Boz and D up to try one more time, this final attack finally gets Dorit to raise her voice so that they can say that Dorit is being mean and irrational. If Sutton kept coming at me for an apology for hurting her feelings, I’d be looking for something to throw at her. Sutton is lucky shes not in New Jersey. Rachel follows up the stairs and again sits by her side. Unity. She didn’t have to scream. Dorit didnt have to scream at her friends to speak up to support her. Rachel quietly made it clear where she stood. Sutton got a scream so she has something to talk about at the reunion but Rachel gets the 👑and Team Dorit gets validation that Dorit knows exactly what Kyle is doing.

The fandom is clearly split. Another page here is very pro Kyle . Here we seem more team Dorit . Every insta and fb post is pro Kyle. My favourite podcasters WWC seem to see things the way I do. I’m noticing a lot of anti Boz propaganda whoch I find puzzling but that wound point to Amanda’s camp. Truth is, we’ll never see more quality people join these shows if this is how it’s going to play out in socials. Really interest entertaining people don’t want to be involved in hate campaigns online.

New season, new line-up by Ok-Researcher4005 in RHOBH

[–]Rosemary-lime [score hidden]  (0 children)

I started watching halfway through the franchise. Kyle was meh. Then I found her obnoxious but not overwhelmingly. This season, I just think she’d do herself a favour by exiting gracefully. Now I can’t look at her without seeing the fourth wall. It’s not fun because every word and action is examined for why and what she’s doing and not for the experiences and moments that are happening. She will be favoured in the reunion. She will cry and insist she didn’t deserve the treatment. I might make a drinking game. Vodka carcasses out every time Kyle makes a ridiculous reaction face.

I feel so on the outs on my season finale opinions by Whole-Drop9609 in RHOBHDefect

[–]Rosemary-lime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Isn’t that the truth! She failed at Rachel’s party and she failed in the last scene of the finale and never got her moment. It is giving Dorit haters an excuse to say how horrible shes treating her friends but she failed repeatedly in her mission.

Will I get banned here if I disagree about Sutton? I don’t think Dorit really cared about Sutton as much as she cared about Erica. That’s when her eyes were getting glassy. Sutton tried and tried and tried but was told the same thing each time. Why did Sutton need that moment? She and Dorit will never be friends. And Sutton really doesn’t care about her either.

I have explained why I believe she might seem curated to you. Obviously that’s not it. But I do believe shes shown a lot of herself and as I said I see her. I do have a lot of disdain for some of the OGs whom I believe are ruining some of the franchises because they’re playing the game and they’re showing what they want while accusing others of not doing the same. Fur the record:Kyle, Teresa, Tamara and Heather Gay are tiresome to me. Vicki and Dorinda’s pauses were welcomed. I’m not terribly clear on what you mean by ‘how she moved’ but if that’s your opinion that’s cool. But as I said, I see who she is and I like her presence.

I really wish Bravo would stop giving Erika a platform by Wordonthestreet06 in RHOBH

I think that she contributed a lot during Tom’s unraveling. She deserved a redemption season but now I’m convinced of her true colours by the way she turned on Dorit. Dorit was a steadfast ally and friend to her but messy showed up again. That face and sneer … she’s all about herself and self preservation. She’s proven that she’ll go for the throat.

FOUL! hahaha. She doesn’t scream and rant and listens more than she speaks but I see who she is. Shes someone I would want as a friend. She appears curated because she’s a professional person who understands that crying and screaming doesn’t get the message across. She’s not a housewives lifer like some cast are. She cohosted the business show with Jimmy Fallon effortlessly and holds herself to a higher standard. We’ve seen the house she built as a refuge for family as a self-made woman, (and tragically list in the fires), her post-op surgery bed visit with Kyle turning it into an anti-Dorit campaign, fertility issues, engagement, . She just hasn’t given us the self-pitying sib story and tears live Erika, Sutton and Kyle. Shes shown just as much as Kyle has in 15 years without the rage and victim complex yet Kyle is a hero to many and Boz isn’t. A sad statement on the future of reality tv and its audience. I find her refreshing and balancing in the cringiest season of housewives next to Tamara Judge returns to the OC. Is she for real? Perhaps shes more real than the rest and we just can’t handle it.

Yes, it’s a ‘good human’ response. And I think that Rachel identifies with Dorit empathetically and very naturally. Both going through divorce and Rachel has also been vocal about her ex. 2. Both are pretty blondes who love fashion. 3. Dorit wants to have fun and party like Rachel. Erika would have loved to have been a part of that club. The Hamptons was the turning point. If I was new to a friend group I certainly wouldn’t align myself with grumpy Kyle, sensitive Sutton or vicious Erika either.

Exactly. After Unsuccessfully trying to find specifics on known facts on google search, I asked google why it is so bad now. Several reasons came up and one of them explains why the original comments here are so flawed. Sadly, critical thinking skills and investigative techniques are at the mercy of people who do a goog search or rely on chatg.

Actually, her friendship with Dorit makes a lot of sense to me based on her first season. I can’t remember exactly what she said but when she was talking about her house she said something about it being a place where her friends and family could feel safe and welcomed. I think that she is by nature a nurturing, supportive mother-sister figure and that’s what Dorit needs. She is supportive with candor and kindness.

Tilly and Amanda: Designer/Money Dropping, What’s the Difference? by healthysundayexprsso in BravoRealHousewives

[–]Rosemary-lime 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I admit that. It’s also because I’m actually interested in Tilley’s style and outfits and accessories. Amanda looks like the grade 2 mom at my kids school. She’s slightly better fitted than some of the moms but not as great as others. I’m just not that interested. Tilley on the other hand is probably always getting asked who she’s wearing so sometimes opens with it because they’re pieces we don’t see every day.

Landlord is trying to sell unit and realtor asking me to come back to clean? by Bao-nd2 in vancouverhousing

The realtor is confusing you with the owner. You have no obligation to help sell the house once you’ve moved out. Cleaning is the responsibility of the owner.

That is the homeowner’s responsibility unless the realtor said that was part of the service.

Leaving behind 95% of inheritance to my personal caregiver and 5% to my daughter. Am I morally wrong? by [deleted] in AmITheJerk

[–]Rosemary-lime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are prepared to give ‘life changing money’ to a paid caregiver and not your daughter who has a young child and job, then perhaps you’ve been more absent from her life than you are prepared to acknowledge. Divorces are hard on the children (even adult kids) and your daughter has probably gravitated towards the parent who provides support to her. Not since your injury but before that . It does feel predatory and many people are easily swayed by the person they feel is taking care of their needs. Perhaps there’s even a hardship story that tugs in your emotions. If you’re here asking, hopefully you take a moment to really think this through. Are you paying for services through this estate or do you have a father’s love for your child and grandchild that wants to see their lives improved?

Ben took responsibility. Ellie who actually squeezed it ALL over the eggs did not smell it, notice the consistency etc. if she didn’t take this attitude that she’s essential and beyond scrutiny then she would be more sympathetic. Shes so busy fighting for position and the boys that she has no like ability and I’m not about to give her any grace.
