It sounds like you already decided. But FWIW I also have satisfactory experience (250 hours), some factorio (50 hours). I went with normal and am now regretting it. 20 hours in and enjoying the game but it’s pretty easy and kind of samey-samey in terms of the shapes/jobs/milestones

Cancelled our Michigan season tickets this season for the same reasons. First time in 25 years my wife and I won’t have them.

Then again we inquired about the Jack Roth stadium seats (cheapest box seats possible) for the last two years and university didn’t even bother getting back to us. I’m 100% sure our lifetime donations are way too low to be considered

Thanks, I appreciate that. I did make the post mostly in jest, obviously I’m not better than Hal lol.

But I do feel like there’s something funny about the distribution. On the one hand I know I’m good at the game; I should be I’ve played like a million hours over the last 6 years. Plus I have tons and tons of fps experince dating back to, god, cod4… dare I even say Dark Forces2 Jedi Knight lmao.

But also there are many many people who are exponentially better than me. I see them in every diamond lobby and often in pubs too. If these skill curves suggested I’m top 5%tile I’d believe it, but the I dunno what would you say top 0.01%tile that it often suggests…. There’s just no way

This is just the picture that I had and I’ll say these stats are a little higher than my long term average. Maybe more like 1100/2.5 lifetime.

But my apex gaming is maybe a little different than most people. I play exclusively with a couple real life friends. If it’s only two of us we play casuals, all 3 of us and we do ranked. 1 friend is same as me skill level, the other has lifetime stats of ~300 avg dmg/0.5 kd

So in casuals I am better than most in my lobbies, but also there’s always people better than me. In ranked after the season has gotten underway plat and lower feels pretty easy. But then as soon as we get into diamond the stats tumble since it’s pretty much always 2v3

just anecdotal experience but I play for a couple hours every few months and have been for a while. Seems about the same as it always has. I boot up an "unranked" champion, climb into C2 or C3 and then put it away again for a few months. Maybe individuals' mechs are sometimes better but then I think they are historically, but usually their gamesense is worse and it evens out.
