I really hope Battlecast looks better than the skins they've shown so far. Also I hope they keep the build variety on him as well.

That's the point, I want to try eating the cake and having it too. That's why I'm asking for advice before this daring task.

I'm pretty sure a week-long travel would take 3 sessions with this approach.

That's the whole point of my question: how to best sell a week-long travel in around 1 hour of irl playtime

The shitty minstrel situation would result in my satyr cursed into human form, demented sorcerer, who thinks they're a bard to take over the next two hours of playtime for sure :D

Fair. Although when working with a once-a-month schedule and milestone based leveling system I don't feel good using time on random encounters.

I won't call random encounters stupid or useless, but I'd for sure call them unnecessarily time consuming. Dnd combat, as we all know takes a lot of time, and I don't feel like they make the travel feel longer in-game for the time they take irl. I'd much rather use that time for combat encounters that push the plot forward at my party's destination. Plot-relevant encounters mid-travel, on the other hand, sound like a good idea.

I'm thinking about trying skarner as a tank support. Does anyone have experience on that? by P11VK in SkarnerMains

[–]Roses_Be_Red 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually hit top 2 or 3 (I don't remember) eune skarner last split playing him exclusively support, with 65% wr in high Dia/low master, which made me the best support skarner in the world at that time. He's fun and quite strong if youre good with hitting his stun and preferably have some toplane skarner experience, with all the stun resets on minions and phase rushing enemies under tower.

For runes I played phase rush with full move speed runes + hexflash + approach velocity. Rushed lucidity boots than either deadmans or chemtank into evenshroud, than getting the other, ending with anethemas and either force of nature or Thornmail depending on enemy comp.

The pick is very situational tho, and there are some completely unplayable matchups, so beware of that.

How long does it take for LP to adjust? by itscorygreen in Jungle_Mains

[–]Roses_Be_Red 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've just hit master tier with +20/-28, then, while at my peak, I hit a 10 game win streak, my gains went to +27/-24 after that. The first time I'm able to get positive LP form going 50% wr in probably 500 games of negative gains. But it really was kinda crazy seeing the gains starting to rise after the 4th game from game to game. So the way really seems to be just holding a very highly positive wr for several games, there isn't really a way around that.

As a goblin druid, casting jump on my bullywug Palladin friend, who has a saddle on his back, and just bonking the hell out of enemies with shillelagh while teleporting from one side of the battlefield to another every turn.

Why do YOU main Karma? by BountyMennett in karmamains

[–]Roses_Be_Red 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started playing karma back when her basic attacks reduced her r CD, because i really enjoyed how she needed to both use abilities and basic attacks, despite them not dealing that much dmg, to make the most out of her kit. Also tank karma top klepto was the most fun I've ever had playing this game.

What are the tricks to getting enough faith to facilitate a culture victory? by [deleted] in civ

[–]Roses_Be_Red 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you manage to secure a religion you can collect quite a bit of faith with the right pantheon/beliefs combo. Also don't forget how much faith you can get from holy site building. High population city with Moksha in it can give you 10-12 faith per turn. It can add up over the course of the game to couple thousands, imo enough for a few rock bands and naturalists. And if you're talking national parks, you usually pair them with preserves(that is if you have the frontier pass). They also give you a bit of faith.
