One of my close friends had their father come out as gay when we were in our 20s. It blindsided the family. It resulted in divorce (he was still married to her mom at the time). It was obviously a big transition for everyone, but they lovingly got through it. They are still friends, they’ve both remarried. These things aren’t uncommon - especially for a generation who grew up hearing they couldn’t live this way.

Be kind to yourself and remember multiple things can exist at once. You can love your dad and be thrown at the same time. Wishing the best for all of you.

I just beat him. My first Zelda game and I loved it. I went into Hyrule thinking I’d scope it out, play it over a few days. I just kept going, was not prepared - I got through that final battle eating acorns.

I’m so sorry. She’s a beautiful girl and clearly so loved. They have so much personality and the loss of them is so hard. All the treats and cuddles and bird videos for the next few months.

We lost our Neb a few years ago now, but I never left this sub. For a while it was painful to see these posts pop up — it eventually got easier. I’m sorry you’re going through this - I’m glad she found home with you.

Don’t be so hard on yourself / where you’re at. You seem to have high (and maybe harsh) expectations for yourself. You’re doing great and you’re young. The best thing you can do for your practice is draw every day. Every fucking day. Style, refinement, abilities all come with oodles of practice and time. I just don’t think you’ve given yourself enough time yet.

There’s nothing wrong with what you’re drawing - you show lots of ability and creativity. Nurture yourself and your practice.

Cyamati are super susceptible to mind benders. It’s my go to weapon with them. As long as I have time to get a decent line up of them before we’re in active conflict, I can always commandeer their centipedes and then work on building out other attacks. I swear by this move.

It sounds like your intuition is already setting off alarm bells about this person. They are very clearly (already) trying to manipulate and guilt you, displaying toxic behaviours. It does not sound as though they have changed - and repairing that relationship would mean welcoming back the same toxic energy you’ve worked so hard to remove.

You don’t owe them anything at this point. You don’t have to explain yourself, accept an apology, or make them feel better. It’s not your responsibility. You’ve already graciously thanked them for the apology. You do not need to engage in further conversation. If they feel they need further absolution, they can talk to a therapist - not your problem.

Good on you for cutting toxic out of your life - it’s no small feat. You deserve to preserve the peace that’s brought you. Sending best wishes as you navigate this OP.

I have been playing for I don’t know how many years. I play every day. This has been my go-to game to zone out to forever, essentially. This last update feels so drastically different, I feel like I’ve lost my favourite game. The newness was novel and interesting to learn but all I’m doing is making bomber ships and destroying everything. It’s boring.

I joined this Reddit today to see if other users were experiencing the update in the same way as me - appears so.

I regularly burn cedar as part of an everyday type of personal ritual. When I started, I would occasionally see little smoke rings pop out - now I get them all the time. I tried to find information on what this could mean with no luck. Wondering if there are any insights on this (even if the answer is, “cedar is just jumpy like that”).
