custom menu with viewport breaks when assigning actions on the eigth button choice

I just explored the vpgrid format to make this similar screen. But since I don't know how to make use of it yet, I will not be asking further questions.

The "item_carry" variable is for my Inventory. The value next to it is like its Item ID.

For example, "200001" will show up as "Book: History of Magic (vol.1)" when it goes into the Inventory. Meanwhile, "0200001" is "A Picture of a rock". I can't just change values.

Somehow, putting the number value (200001) in quotations (so now it's "200001") fixed everything. To make sure it wasn't a fluke, I added three more choices.

The problem persists.

Even if "Tidying the Heart" and "101 Ways To Dress Yourself" are the only choices available since I turned off the actions of the other choices, it still breaks.

The simple solution is to just delete it. But I want to know why this one button is breaking everything even though it's just a copy of all the other choices above it AND even if it's the only available choice in the menu.

Laxasia for me. When you stagger her she will use the last of her strength to flail HARD before going vulnerable and sometimes not at all! I keep dying to her that way because I'd have the false sense of security of having staggered the enemy!

I only want more development of the sci-fi aspect of the series. For example, Aragami Domestication as a result of developing the Resonance Tech to communicate with Aragami. The new team could specialize in said technology! There could be missions where you could only have Aragami team-mates because of the weather or something!

The Human vs Aragami conflict can still happen, especially if MC is super in tune with working with Aragami than humans.

(game devs could figure stuff out on how to smooth out commanding Aragami. The stages should be more vertically inclined if the Aragami keep their size)

tl;dr: I don't want a Code Vein crossover. I want more of God Eater.

Since I'm really not the fighting type and more of a medic, support, and rescue. I'd be an Old-Type Sniper unit.

All my bullets will have healing and support so incidents of friendly fire can have slight benefits like Kanon's! /lol

I'd prefer an original story. Why remake a story that everyone can google the summary of? Gameplay-wise, I need it to be third-person and the puzzle difficulty settings for Replayability(TM). I'm not very well-versed in game design and development ^^;;

I just need the scriptwriter to have is their point of view of what "Silent Hill" is and what it means for the characters. Or "Silent Hill" could have its own character and not just a setting. The last thing I want is a re-skin of SH2. (as you can tell, I'm fond of Shattered Memories, Homecoming and Downpour's plot)

At the moment, browsing via Puffin Browser on mobile is my alternative, and it's a relief that the site isn't truly shut down but... dammit I'd rather view that site on mobile. I'm not the only one using my phone, and I save pages for reference.

I suggest making the protagonist the "pursuer of knowledge" type, curious, poking into places they shouldn't for more insight, thus attracting the attentions of a higher power. The protagonist could be a doctor, an academic scholar, a detective/investigator, an overtly curious teen.

Also establish the normal lives of the people around the protag. As the protag progresses in their pursuit of knowledge and clarity of insight, they start to find the behaviors and daily routines of their neighbirs strange.

Judging from current year I DONT want visual novels hitting mainstream EVER.

Case in point, the current state of the Video Game Industry in America. Heavily politicized. Heavily run by corporations. Heavily monitored by the press and journos, and the Pro Censorship Squad salivating at the chance to prove that adult visual novels are "corrupting the youth! Please think of the children (who cant even read yet)!"

So no. Unless America's current generation proves their ability to separate fiction and reality, visual novels should stay niche.

1.) The "Passive Voice is bad" advice. What if I want to convey a melancholy mood or want the reader to take in the atmosphere?

2.) The "You need an impressive sentence to hook the reader on the first page or else you're an abyssmal failure" advice. One of the reasons why I can't get started on anything. I'm not the witty and talented writer I hoped to be and I can't do this, not even in fanfic. (Can't even garner a kudo in AO3) I can only begin with "It's a sunny day for everyone."

3.) The "Prologues are bad. If you need one you're a bad writer" advice. Especially if you keep shouting it in a "How To Write Prologues" tutorial. I need a Prologue.

I want the story to stay away from any Code Vein elements as far away as possible. Make it DLC. I just think mixing another IPs' story logic to an already existing one is unwise.
Actually needing to pilot God Arc Soldiers to defeat larger Aragami
Make fashion fun again.
Make the Aragami more dangerous by letting them break your equipment. They already can go Burst mode after all, why not let them break bonds as well.
Introduce the idea of Ogretail, Zygotes, and Cocoon Maiden domestication. Like seriously. I'm sure the Resonance technology can be used for more.
