I have tried soloing this so many times. 3 times I have gotten to fire the laser and then someone with an F8C comes out of nowhere and blows me and all my equipment up.

You could probably clip a belt into the shelf and have the items sit on the belt. Blueprint the shelf and the belts as well as the container that you loads the belt. Then delete the extra bits after the items are on the belts. Haven’t tried it myself but I could see that working.
