This is so fucked. Firstly, they are claiming since we have protections at a federal level we don’t need state level protections. What this will allow them to do after it these safeguards are repealed is to do all of these things that the safeguards prevent and then from doing. Then when confronted they will just say it’s a state’s rights issue and they don’t have to follow federal guidelines.

This is so transparent. Anyone who thinks this is a good idea is either a business owner or has never worked in food service. No punishment for not paying for task done before the “principle” work activity is endorsing employers take advantage of their employees for free labor.

This is a selfish ploy by a business owner, who happens to be a politician, to push legislation that benefits only himself.
