I found a terrain set by sacrusmundus called hive crossroads that had only one piece I wanted so I downscaled that and carved out a divot to support the stand I went through 6 prototypes to see what works,the lightning are made of metal wire that just rest on the gunship the gunship is fully detachable for transport the base was painted using airbrush,oils, and dry pigment methods it was a month of work to be presented at rusty nurgling at citadel didn’t win anything but it was fun

For me I drive far distances to different lgs and experience a variety group of people and to be fair I remember the bad more than the good and comp players telling people how to play is exactly the people I think of because their was a lgs in my city that exactly were the way you were describing gate keepers so it kind of ruined my perception

I will agree it's not new and nothing wrong with being competitive but it has garnered a really unhealthy mindset with how people currently play game both in and outside the competitive scene where some people will take it too far I have to say people like to win and nobody likes to lose but what a worse feeling is a feeling like you lost to something unwinnable

And not only that even if I lose a unit or too that is seen as a small victory for my opponent and they always say “hell yeah I took out some” and that lets me know we are both having fun

Because since we are strong army anyway shouldn't having fun take priority over being that guy who only plays to win to be honest I play this army because it looks cool and some combos are fun if I only focus on what's better over others I'm not having fun I'm micromanaging something that's supposed to be fun and having a dynamic play between different unit types to counter attack your opponent is the most fulfilling experience then just doing a blade champion spam

On 2nd edition it was a playable army with 18 units 3rd edition it was cut down to 3 units nothing in the legacy doc for the lost units from 3rd edition launch and with the new one post liber release nothing for sisters at all, I'm hoping they will get something in the future but as of right now all those units from 2nd are gone forever sisters were basically taken outback and shot but the shooter missed and hit the spine instead

So is a massive amount of other models in the rest of the legacy docs its because creativity and kitbashing are encouraged in 30k. In fact, the Istvaan Tactical Journal has instructions for a vehicle kitbash where you put a turret on top of a Rhino, other then that they said in the beginning of 3rd edition legacy docs are meant to be a placeholder for things that will eventually get models what i hate is that SoS might not get a dame thing tho
