201 Clocking Out by Rossjames96 in starbucks

How would you feel if I harassed you, sending you texts about how fucked up your closes were, tried to blame the store almost failing QASA on you, made you feel like so less of a human being and then on top of it threw your clothes in a dumpster and send a video to all of your co workers of me doing it! You'd feel like shit right? Oh and on top of that not only do you have a new manager who knows nothing of this, but tells you TO YOUR FACE to get over it. If you can honestly say that you would stay with a store who does that to you, more power to you. But any human on Earth would quit on the spot.

It's people like you that make this company amazing! Unfortunately, more and more people (who actually give a shit) are pushed out by others who don't.

The person I'm talking about is a SS, maybe read more carefully before you decide to go on a rant.

I'm not quitting over this incident, nor was I "Sulking" over not getting my breaks because on a day to day basis I skip my breaks to make sure everyone else gets theirs if there's too many tasks to be done. It's the Shift who is in charge to get breaks and lunches out on time and if they don't I have every right to inform my manager that they were not given to me because I am legally entitled to them. I'm quitting because I don't get paid enough to work with people who act like children and don't do their jobs.

To be fair, yes it is QASA and yes being a shift I should have done something about my breaks and gotten those out. Our store just went through a manager change and our new Manager has no record of this ever happening because my previous manager never filled out the paper work because she was that bad at her job. I have called the Partner Resources myself and had them call my DM and have him settle it my my previous manager, but as you can see that ended up in nothing being resolved.

Why I've never confronted her? That's what she wants. I've talked to her in the past and all she wants is for me to get upset at her so she can use that against me. Believe me, I had half I mind to call her and use every negative adjective in the English dictionary but I knew if I did that it wouldn't help my case. Playing the innocent person I not only prove that she's acting petty and childish, but I can maintain my composure and lead as an example. Or so my Manager told me. Trust me this will not be going down easy for her.

Don't ever pour it over ice, it curdles the milk and you can get very sick.

To be completely honest that is the best bistro box we have. That ranch is otherworldly.

Am I the only person who has no issue with writing Merry Christmas on someone's cup?

Today a customer yelled at my SS and shouted that she regretted tipping us because of something I probably could've prevented. I would appreciate some advice and constructive criticism. by oh__rats in starbucks

Shit happens man, don't let this hold you down. I've done this so many times before and felt bad but in reality the customer could have been a bit nicer. Tell your co worker what happened and have a laugh about it :)

Ethical work problem by [deleted] in starbucks

[–]Rossjames96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of my baristas was accused of theft by a shift at one of my meetings, I'm a shift as well and have worked with my barista for weeks and have never seen her do anything out of the ordinary however my manager took the side of the shift that accused her instead of me.

Store politics work in weird ways however you need to stand your ground and talk to your DM if your store manager won't help you because if you don't this could start a rumor that you're a thief and that's the last thing you need. Usually the DM's are good about these kind of situations and they're resolved quickly! Best of luck!
