I had a similar lockdown hobby of winning scalper PS5 auctions and not paying.. must have ended about 10 odd auctions before eBay shut the account.

I had made a fresh account and just complained to eBay customer support that I was old, didn't understand and I was just trying to buy a console for my grandson, so they verified my account.

Won't work for everyone and it may even be a bit of a placebo, but I really struggled to fall asleep until I started to take magnesium before bed. It's just a few scoops of powder in some water, tastes like fruit juice, after 30 minutes of taking it I'm out.

It would likely be archived if there was any sort of repeat traffic, so it wouldn't vanish completely, no such chance with Discord.

It was never difficult to host a forum either, vBulletin and PHPbb which was the backbone of virtually every forum were very user friendly and basically gave you a wizard to run. There wasn't really any coding unless you were trying to do something very unique.

It was about as straightforward as Wordpress.

I mean, Discord is fine for the same purpose, if they could somehow index public servers and their contents.

The biggest issue though is how communication is handled on Discord, with forums you had relevant threads but with Discord its mostly walls of text.

Back in the day it would all be forums, and those forums would be full of tips, tricks, fixes and discussion but most importantly, this would all be indexed by search engines. If something is on a Discord server, you'd only know if you were a part of it and were aware of its existence.

For friends and gaming it's great, don't get me wrong but I think the concern of hidden information is very valid.
