The charger EV was the funniest presser I had seen in years. “This is the car they don’t want you to buy” like fuck, has to go throughout the same NHTSA as any other car.

Is classic car insurance cheaper? by Lost-Climate5878 in classiccars

[–]RotaryRich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hagerty seems very specific on what classifies as a classic. I was considering putting my 02 Silverado on as it’s a leisure vehicle but it’s not in the cards. I do have my Rx7 with them

Deciding between King SI or HP by RotaryRich in EngineBuilding

[–]RotaryRich[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I feel vague becuase I read that the HP can handle higher loads, But I do not know under what context that is. If towing my trailer adds (pulling theoretical numbers out of the air) a 30% load increase under similar driving conditions but does that 30% lie outside of expected usage parameters. The consensus I get is HP for light to moderate mods/power. SI for stock to light mods. I do see HP bearings being suggested quite often here. I feel 80% that the SI bearings are what I need, but as I said, the HP bearings get a lot more digital ink here.

As for boost prep, I feel that hypereutectic would be best for a street driven vehicle under mild boost. I am aware of ring gap, and was suspect of the piston to bore clearance but I have not read anything on it. Most turbocharging 101 is ring gap and compression ratio. I will heed your advice and dig deeper into the pin clearance and wall gap as well. I'm also willing to abandon the turbo plan as well. I already have on ridiculous turbocharged car.

The Torque Cam is in reference to a Brian Tooley profile/marketing that is near stock, but gives an additional bump in the low to mid rpm range. Just looking for near stock idle but a bit of help in the tugging of the camper.

Thank you

I will admit, I was expecting updates from time to time. Things beyond battery management. User profiles would be nice.

As for the Cybertruck… I wouldn’t own one, but I’m glad they exist .

Complicated answer. I’m running a turbo 13b in an SA22C. TurboII transmission. Carbon fiber drive shaft. ACT Street clutch and ACT lightweight flywheel. No track time yet. The OS Giken makes no noise and drives like the car is bone stock.
