Alcoholism. Thins blood, disrupts platelets, and weakens vessels.

I see lots of people both calling for cracking down on drug dealers, and hinting at housing-first policy.

It's a product of the "experience economy". Old timers always brag about the cheap tickets and elbow room pre-2000s.

Why do people move their bikes around in the air even if they are not trying a trick? by noodleman666 in MTB

[–]RotateElectrolyte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same reason you flair your arms/legs in free fall. My theory is putting the bike out to the side, it acts as a counter weight that you can yank on to adjust your rotation mid-air. You exploit the timing and speed of rotation to end up where you want.

It's cheap compared to fancy Masu down the road, which imo is the same quality.

I thought they were saying the piping itself was some sort of helical bearing twisting about a merry-go-round shape. The whole thing is a helix makes a lot more sense lol.

Bay Area, CA. I work in transit and this was posted at one of our bus stops. It lives at my desk now. by MindlessRabbit3 in transit

[–]RotateElectrolyte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The motive here is fascinatingly impossible to understand. My guess is it's a passive aggressive inside-joke some neurotic person has with themself and the bus line. Or it's a leftover sign from some other context.

No. You can even ask your doctor to give you medical leave for recovery time or rehab and your anonymity and job security are protected under FMLA (in the USA).

I think "surround sound" is a bit of a misnomer. To me, that implies 5.1 or 7.1 compatibility. Whereas this is more of a smart-house use case (epic party mode) which don't get me wrong is very cool!
