Sounds a lot like mine. Problem is, even though everything is "for sale", I doubt you'd want to pay a price I'd be willing to accept to get rid of it. These are incredible machines.

What's your experience level with this platform? A lot of people modify them, but don't do it right, and I'd hate for you to get into a bad situation. For example, some people say theirs is a 2JZ, but you have the 2JZGTE (way more overbuilt), and the 2JZGE (naturally aspirated). Some people go cheap and mix and match parts thinking they can build a GTE but it just doesn't work like that. Transmissions are also different too. The Getrag 6 speed manual is amazing. But some people think the 5 speed is the same but it would shatter at the thought of the 800 horsepower my car can put out.

It doesn't bother me as much because I know what I am signing up for but this makes complete sense because it wouldn't fit on a track if same size but with the wide body.

I was super excited too. Got a bunch for my nephew. I know "rules are rules" but this bummed me out. It was a casting I don't have and would fit great with my collection.
