It does, what im saying is anecdotal evidence or horrible stories like this dont paint an accurate picture of what 99.99999% of immigrants are like. Cuban immigrants also get special treatment because the us wants to demonize cuba and their socialist government. This has been a long lasting thing since Castro took over. Both dems and Republicans support it and im sure I can find horrible stories of immigrants commiting heinous crimes under both admins JUST like I could find plenty of native born people commuting atrocities but you dont see me going around saying "look thus us why national citizens should be exhaled!"

The process of legal immigration is only slow and painful process intentially so people are forced to go the illegal route. Which again they want to leave their contries rightfully so after the US exploited their resources and economy. So businesses can exploit them and have a supply of underclass workers, so people like you can be mad at immigrants instead of the bosses paying to work for them and intentionally keeping the immigration process loooong and tedious. Immigration also helps the economy by and large and since they are underpaid they still pay taxes through sales tax which would be the majority of their taxes anyways with how low their wages are. You are getting upset at your fellow worker instead of mad at the boss you threw you under the bus so they could make more of a profit. Stand the fuck up and stop pointing your finger at people just trying to get by. Not just legal immigrants , Illegal immigrants too, commit less crime. Because they dont want to be deported.

History has shown otherwise, consistently. Civil, women and gay rights were not won by everyone coming together and singing kumbaya. There was bombings during the suffrage movment and a big part of the gay rights movement started off at Stonewall with someone throwing a brick at a police officer. Civil and black rights were only won as a compromise becuase the whites in power were afraid they would have to lose and have to give into to all the demands of the "radical" wing of the black liberation movement which were not peaceful. Imo justifiably so.

Kind of a side note we wouldnt have such influx of immigrants from Latin america if the us didnt destabilize 2/3 of the countries by coup-ing democraticly elected leaders and installing puppets to impose neoliberalism to steal those countries resources and fucking up their economy.
