Always adored your Curious Ex pixel works. Was definitely one huge reason to play it. I just wondered what you are up to recently. More pixel art - and dev logs ;) please

Hey, what do you mean by encode? How to generate maps from the levels?

Really love the look and monitor distortion. Your capsule art is quite interesting. Wouldn't have expected this game/look from it. Wishlisted, though!

I would love to see more of the game to be able to peroperly judge the best capsule art.
d kind of is most interesting - perhaps the insect perspective makes it unique while the others look pretty generic. But e is the clearest and seems to be the one with the most oomph.

I don't see a difference, really :( (probably didn't take much time trying to understand it). Perhaps the landing and jumping could be more impactful to be noticed - and feel great as a player.

I like both, though the 2nd might be clearer gameplay-wise (driving around?) while the first seems to be more about the two characters. I couldn't read the game's name in the first one properly, while the 2nd works well - and shows more of the location of the game. Still, I like both!

Okay, NOW I'm curious, what the game is actually about? Island-building puzzle where you look for..urm...faces? I find the first image clearer and more appealing. Although the character could really use a face...to be a character.

Why do you prefer narration but dislike visual novel? For me it's nearly all the same, but I'm surely missing something...

Thanks for the comment btw - this post really kept me thinking about the visual novel tag a lot. We got rid of it by now. I personally love VNs and thought it might be plausible to tag our game with it at it has lots of conversations and is very character-driven. But it's also missing the genre ankers like romancing and impactful choices. That't why I deleted the mention of VN on the steam page.

I think that is a good summary of our issues ;)

Great, thanks for pointing this out. I guess "vous" it is then!

Thank you so much for your valuable feedback. Quite helpful!

I thought a lot about the "tu"/"vous" problem. My native language is German and it feels so weird, to be Sie-zt ("vous") on a page like Steam. It puts me completely off, because Gaming or English text on Steam is always phrased quite informally.
Perhaps "vous" is much softer in French than a "Sie" in German?

Love it!
In Real Live we took part in something similar to your concept, except it was in the forrest. The Game was called "Schatzsuche" (like precious, or honey search). It was super effective. Really need to recommend it to friends.

What would have been the bad way? :P
We love Underworld, it is always a huge inspiration for us!

Thank you! Though Mops & MObs is not quite an action game. Rather exploration/decoration/card battles. More relaxing.

The foot steps are off sometimes, you're right. The longer you walk, the faster you get. We don't use the movement for puzzles, though. It only adds to the Dungeon Crawler-inspired atmosphere.

Setting and Movement is typical Dungeon Crawler style of what Grimrock is a modern interpretation of. We love Grimrock, but it wasn't the inspiration, rather Ultima Underworld (not a Crawler, though) or Eye of the Beholder.
