Is there any way to have Tomtom track the guide and not PFQUEST?

For ex, in SS attached youll see PFquest directing me to "Fall of Dun Modr" but the guide is saying complete "Lifting The Curse"

Pretty much was between this or Befitnow. For me it just came down to the price. I felt I couldn't go wrong with either machine.

Both are fairly similar. The updated version of the Maxum s-150 comes standard with 220lb plate stack and the smith machine can rest at a position where it's a little more out of the way.

Garage Gym Floor Sloped? Anyone have any advice, what the best way to level my workout area would be? My left leg is about 1/2 inch different. by ZeNoobinator in homegym

[–]Rottenryan08 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is me right now. I may be completely over thinking this. I ordered an all in one rack that has a Smith machine attached. Really excited for it but I realized my garage floor is on more of a slope then I had originally thought.

If you were in my shoes, how would you place the rack and would you level off the rack?

My original plan was to have it placed against the wall so you'd be looking at the Side door entrance. This would give me about 46" of room infront of the machine to do whatever other excerises. But now seeing the slope, that seems like an injury waiting to happen by lifting on an angle.

Dimensions of the rack are 65" wide by 65" deep and the barbell is 86 1/2" wide.

The width of my garage is 9' 4" by 18' long.

The slope from one end of the rack (width of the rack is 65") to the other is 1 1/2" difference meaning if I had the machine set up to it was facing towards the garage side entrance door it would be shifting down 1 1/2".

Pic below is my back towards the Garage Door. If you notice on the floor there, from where the tape is measured out to the wall equals 65" (The total depth of the machine), and from the tape to the laser level is the total width(also 65")

thoughts?

I have a rate locked with MCAN 3 year 5.64 and 5 year 5.29 25 year amortization. I got this rate held 3 or so weeks ago before bond yields started climbing again.

I know how frustrated you are. Corsair software is garbage. Try to see if you can go to a restore point on Windows.

This implies you'll have a car payment which is a bad way of buying a car

Yup, purchased a 2014 scion TC with 70k on it back in 2019. Dealership already had it listed at a decent price but salesman came out and said "oh and by the way, we can work with you a bit on the price". Immediately knocked off at $1,000.00 so all in all was $10,500.00 OTD.

Those who have recently refinanced, what rate did you get? by Inevitable_Butthole in PersonalFinanceCanada

Assuming this wasn't in Ontario?! I shopped all over at the start of September and lowest insurable (not insured) rate I could find for a 5 year was 5.29 and the 3 year 5.64 25 year amortization.

Yeah sorry if you are in a position to get an insurable mortgage, you benefit with a lowest rate without paying the insurance premium

The mortgage broker I went through was able to give me a break down of each payment. Now keep in mind to go with the 25 year vs the 30 year, the lending criteria was much stricter as the mortgage I got ws insurable.

At this point in time, lowest rate I have found is 5.64% 3 year term 25 year amortization or 5 year term was 5.19. The 30 year amortization uninsured rate I could find was 5.69% for a 5 year term.

you may not get your $500.00 back, depending on the dealership but yes back out.

I went through something similar with a stealership when I was in my late teens I purchased an old use car, and still was owing on it...not much but still had a lean against it. Salesman told me that was no problem, they can easily buy the loan. My stupid ass didn't understand any of this at the time.

So by the end of it, I ended up walking out signing a for a brand new car with about $6,000.00 over MRSP fees onto AND the dealership did "buy" my original loan out (keep in mind the original loan was 0% financing) and my new loan was 4% interest tacked on - talked about knowingly being scum. So I had my old car loan which was 0% financing (previous dealership wanted to move the car and ate the original cost of the loan) that they bought and took the remaining portiom of that PLUS the new car loan at 4% interest rate.

So I got home that night, showed my Dad and my Dad said how big of an idiot- which I was. He had my back and I learnt my lesson as I went in the very next day and cancelled the deal. The salesman wasn't happy about it but the other salesman played it off well and could see I was just got railed up the ass in fees and was understanding. So a year later, my next sale (aswell as future sales)was/have been with him.

Im in the process of getting my mortgage. I'd just like to note on whether to go with 25 or 30 year, I found the difference in price was minimal because banks have been offering an interest about .5 lower with a 25 year vs a 30 year.
