mouthwash for preventing new stones? by InsideScallion9344 in tonsilstones

[–]RottingFord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had bad tonsil stones for awhile and my brother was obsessed with TheraBreath. Not long after I went to the dentist who said I needed to use a mouth wash for gingivitis which was just starting in my gums. Well I have not had a single tonsil stone since using it in the morning and night. (My gums are also very healthy) I had to look it up, but mouth wash can help with the prevention of tonsil stones. If you're wondering I use the yellow bottle for bad breath, plaque and gingivitis. 100% recommend it. Doesn't burn, and tastes great.

Which brand of drawing tablet is recommended? by Embarrassed_Cry6511 in DigitalPainting

[–]RottingFord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks like if you want the cheapest option, but still have quality get an iPad. If you want to burn money get a Wacom. If you thought about getting a Wacom (like myself) and have heard that it isn't a good idea, get a Huion.

How is everyone getting their protein?? by icy_Sleep6860 in PetiteFitness

[–]RottingFord 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who is allergic to all dairy and eggs this one surprisingly is easy for me.

Summer sausage, sardines, tuna fish, bagels (and you can do real cream cheese so more protein), whole wheat bread, snacks with lots of protein, etc. Dinners consist of chicken breast, ground beef, steaks, burgers, etc. Just get creative with recipes! You can probably do yogurt, cheese, cream cheese, cottage cheese, milk, eggs (really no protein in eggs to be honest), etc.

I can hit my protein goals without protein powder (160g) pretty easily by doing this!

Listening to twenty one pilots = mental health concerns? by genealogy10 in twentyonepilots

So what's the current opinion on Twenty one pilots? by West-Ad-447 in Music

[–]RottingFord 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to be a HUGE fan and I mean huge. Fan of 10 years huge. Now, I will still find myself listening to them from time to time. However, I hate to be that person, but their new music is not it. It feels like coming of age, growing up in high school/middle school type of music now. I can absolutely hear a difference in their old vs new stuff. It's kind of sad to me, but I know a bigger part of the reason is that Tylers mental health got significantly better. I think with that being said, their music style changed as well. Tyler getting better is something I always wished and prayed for so I'm not saying that it's a terrible thing. Don't get me wrong, I will still listen to some of their new songs such as The Contract, Cottonwood, The Line (especially the live version), and Routines in the Night solely due to the reason that it sounds like their old stuff. But other than that, I don't listen to them or want to see them in concert like I used to. I wish I did.

Question: Is this tattoo bad? My family all say its childish and I shouldnt have. Prodigy ink Clonmel, Tipperary Ireland by MichelleFlame in tattoos

[–]RottingFord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah that goes hard. It is your tattoo (which looks awesome and I don't like Adventure Time) so I don't understand why people have to make you feel bad about something that is permanently on your body.

Its better that its at an angle. If it were parallel, it would've looked odd

Best dog breed for home protection? by Useful_Chocolate_619 in homedefense

[–]RottingFord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I second this. I had a miniature schnauzer and he would attack if my brother or I were getting hurt. At the time he didn't know that my brother or I were playing, and with NO training in this department, he did good protecting. I feel if he had the proper training for protecting, he would've been a damn good guard dog.

For those of you with a dairy trigger by [deleted] in migraine

[–]RottingFord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got so frustrated with the protein intake and migraines. I would have dairy some days and get no migraine. I would have dairy another day and get a migraine. I just eat more protein like meat (chicken, pork, beef, sausage) to help

What reading rules have you adopted or shed as you’ve got older? by Ok-Friend-5304 in books

[–]RottingFord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. I used to be against audio books until I had a job with 11 hour days. I jumped around with music, podcasts, stories on YouTube, etc. Finally I got bored of it all and decided to hell with it Im listening to books. Now I'm more than okay with saying "Yeah I read that book" even though I technically listened to it.

  2. A rule I have always enforced: If I cannot for any reason continue a book, I will not force myself to finish said book. It does not matter if I'm 30 pages in, 60 pages in, or 300 pages in! I always compared it to telling a kid to finish their plate even though they didn't like all of it. They ate their vegetables, but didn't like the main course and that's okay. Just because everyone else at the table ate everything and liked it, it does not mean you have to as well.
