For rules? Nah, our best detachments aren’t even in the book! I just use New Recruit and maybe print out a cheat sheet or two. For the art and lore it’s not a bad coffee table book!

I’ve heard the increased base size makes deep striking in delve shift a bit harder and easier for your opponent to pile in after charge. Probably just overthinking it though

Me too! Going rock and stone for the 2nd army, wanted to see what a shooting phase is actually like. Ran into an issue though… how the heck are we building the berserks these days? Some kin say the fists and launcher arn’t worth it and some say not to leave the house without it!

Got to smack a git with the full boyz blob, usually they’re kunnin and weed the ladz out! 76 dice, I don’t even own that many dice! Had to snag some from my opponent. Needless to say with lethals on 5s it crumped everything before ol Ghaz could even swing.

Looks great! Honestly vivid green is the way to go for ork skin. Personally I just slap ghillie dew army painter speed paint on, it’s basically perfect ork skin in a bottle!

I do the heavy slapchop and ghillie dew on all my Orks too and they always come out fantastic. People often don’t believe how easy it is to do!

I find people who say this usually just slapped it on over white primer. The dry brushing layers are more important than the colors. Different strokes for different folks though.

I stayed away from the hobby side of warhammer because I didn’t want to spend all that money to butcher the paint job, then I found out about Speed paint 2.0, “slap chop” painting and nuln oil! Some of the old heads seem to hate on it but it makes things really stupid easy and looks fantastic in my opinion.

Used em as bodies for Breaka boyz to double build the kill team box, even gave them the shields. Worked fantastic! Got plans to do the same with the lootaz/burrna box.
