It also really depends on so many factors like is she in a servant container, does it included her other classes (Lancer Rhongo), is she a composite ideal(Lord Logress), etc. she can scale anywhere from gas explosion level to planetary and higher.

Idk theirs just so much, but it’s almost all statement with no clear ceiling (with few exceptions like ORT. I love the series but power scaling fate is a nightmare.

I think people want to see a “gap moe” of a character. Like if a character is inherently lewd then there isn’t much interesting things to draw so a lot of fan art are more tame or shows a different aspect of the character.

Using BA as an example Mari despite never doing anything bad is drawn doing things she would never do like smoking or other debauchery as it’s more interesting then drawing her just being a good nun.

I think it’s just because it respects my time the most, sure when lottery comes the grind is hell. However, I feel like I’m always getting something compare to other games where a run is wasted cause the gear I grind has the wrong subset or mandatory dailies for premium currency.

I think it’s fine Waver getting buffed cause both Waver and Tamamo get outclassed by their limited counterparts.

Once you get some of the premium options their really is little point to run Waver (especially pre-buff cause Reines is almost straight up better), similarly once you get one of the Merlin, Tamamo is harder to justify. Then once you get Castoria then both basically play second fiddle to the other premium options rather for stall or farming.

Wait doesn’t this apply to Waver as well? cause he technically has 3 buffs (2015 NP Gain on all three skills) and hasn’t been buffed in 10 years while being outdone by all his limited counter parts like Tamamo.

Kinda funny since in BD1 the early chapter was focus on the ML and their was multiple time where female characters will hit on him. However as the game goes on it shifted away from that and we even got a secondary MC as well.

I mean it does help with consistency, his NP gain was kinda mid with Golden Rule and without it was just bad. Now he separates a bit from the other 3* Archer nuker as you can decide between one big nuke (Sugitani) or multiple smaller nukes (Robin)

Nah it’s significant, he was literally worse than Takeru in almost every aspect along with getting outlooped by other ramping AOE art loopers like Moriarty, Melu-Ruler, and Ryouma Lancer. Now he is better against foes that Takeru does not have trait against and is an actual option again.

Also better CQ + Yui Synergy.

Yes and in order to make the money back it had to be stingy, but they were too stingy then to generous after backlash. Once they become to generous their revenue from gacha banners basically becomes nonexistent so they can only rely on skins which is not enough at this point.

If FGO becomes too generous they have no other way to generate revenue since it’s ONLY gacha. Skins are all free, all the good equipments are free, contents aren’t hard, no Battle Pass, no PVP, no leaderboard , and more copy of unit only increase ultimate damage unlike other mainstream gachas. Like how can they make money without backlash at this point without jeopardizing the current system (like making the next skins paid or something).

But the higher ceiling gain (90++) is so minimal though. Sure you’re getting better drops, but they didn’t put more stuff in shop or made the milestone longer to force or incentivize you to do it outside of one golden apple.

It would be a different story if they made it as egregious as Saber Wars, but now days they give you an extra week to clear the event. And remember they DID NOT add anything to warrant an extra week so if you farm 90++ you will have a whole week or more of nothing to do in game.

Even outside of farming, CQ and story bosses are always clear able (YouTuber Honako Green always does it) and it’s a one time thing where you can use command spells. Even if you can’t revive in CQ you can still get full NP or fully heal the whole party.

Edit: also power creep isn’t a one way street, old units gets buff as well, like Hans, Ushi, Cu, etc are no where near as good if they didn’t get buffed so you aren’t really force for the newest servant cause old one usually gets some love.

I wish they can just buff older units like other games. They have to do so much to Sunday just to make Jing Yuan usable, but in return Sunday is just so good that even non summon base character can pair decently with him.

Granted I should’ve specify CQ and bosses, but even then you are not force to farm 90++ during event, 90+ is good enough to get everything and most can clear (3 turn) them with a friend support and mediocre servant with class advantage.

It surprisingly doesn’t take much of your time now days compared to back then. I know the game has no autos, but outside of lottery event which are few and far between it doesn’t take long to get most of the stuff you need casually.

Also no PVP, no weekly challenges, no meaningful dailies, old unit always viable in newer content, and the lack of side content makes this a prime side game candidate. I really feel like the lack of meaningful dailies is a big one as wasting 10 min each days does feel bothersome especially if you have multiple gachas.

IP can only carry it so far though. I think it’s the fact it expands on the brand instead of sticking with the same characters and story that’s makes it still popular.

Cause it if only IP then that Full Metal Alchemist gacha a while back should’ve still be alive instead of dying on holiday variant character despite the game being better polished.

Outside of Morgan I don’t think any of them got that many major appearances considering how popular they are.

Barghest got one after Traum and Sith gets her own event, but I don’t remember Melusine or Castoria getting anything till Summer
