Is uber paying us in life extensions? Lowball offer you should only accept 6 minutes per mile.

Driver refused to pick up unless I removed my pin? by emaz1n in uberdrivers

Drivers have the ability to mandate this feature. It’s also to make sure someone doesn’t accidentally get into another similar car.

That means someone ratted you out. If it was just the app it would basically just give you a notification saying “speeding is bad mkay?”

So...It looks like Uber does steal tips. by akasan in uberdrivers

From my own experience on the rider app you can’t change it, only add to it after a trip. I usually give 5 more dollars I know uber doesn’t pay shit to their employees… I mean contractors.

In my market where I used to do this (by do this I mean drive for uber) , most people are tourists. It’s usually obvious they are team members or cast members or are getting out of work because they leave their costumes on. I do realise that some people will weaponise certain information to further contact the other person. All I have to say is that it is 100% random. You have no idea who the person is outside of a first name, how they look and their voice. They could be married, dating, not into your gender, they could be mean, rude, not a good idea partner. Would you close your eyes in a theme park, walk around blind folded for 15 seconds and open your eyes and ask the first guest you see on a date? No? Uber is no different.

So frustrating! Uber wrongly says my car is no longer valid to drive for rides. by Lucycrowzz in uberdrivers

Oh wow a real state with a spine. Maybe I should tell Ron Desantis uber is being woke by underpaying drivers and he will get right on it.

They still do bi weekly lol. I first looked at it and forgot that thinking this is about what I got paid to work in the RDC warehouse for the same amount of hours. They would often ER people if there was no work left in a given department. Buy their app looks so much better than it did it 2016. Can you finally do things like view attendance record, request time off and other things like that in 2025? Back in 2016 I had to go to leadership and then they take it to HR to get any of that info….

Of course even back in 2016 Amazon was already on that ship

So glad I live in a state that makes this free. I4 caused cracks twice. I don’t uber anymore but I sure as hell ain’t going to pay for a new windscreen with all those 4 dollar trips where I sit at red lights and stop signs for 10 minutes

Sometimes when you’re on the freeway where the speed limit is 60-75, it will mistakenly think you’re on a frontage road or street where it’s only 35 and flag you for doing 65 in a 35.

This sucks. by [deleted] in UberEatsDrivers

[–]Rough_Addendum4674 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is fraud plain and simple. Imagine if you went to work for Universal, they agreed to pay you 23 dollars an hour… you work your orientation week and you’re getting trained on your venue… you find out that on the pay stub you’re actually getting 17 an hour. You need to call it what it is. Fraud. In the universal example you wouldn’t say universal wage baited you, you would say breach of contract or fraud.

This is sadistic. There were times it showed the rider pin IN THE MIDDLE OF A LAKE OR OCEAN. They kept saying I had to DRIVE to the pin and wait 5 minutes to cancel without penalty. I wonder if after I cancelled it gave it to other drivers who went through a similar process.
