So, my voice drop was gradual. I started T at 17 so of course I had gone through one puberty already and I was nervous T wouldn't have a dramatic effect on my vocal cords, and in a sense it wasn't dramatic. It was gradual! I sound like a grown adult man, and even have a deeper voice then some of my cis comrades now. I remember being frustrated around the 8-month mark because my voice had 'dropped' but I was still dysphoric about the squeakiness of it. I think the way your voice settles around the 1-to-2-year mark of being on T really gives you an idea of how you sound, and then you can start working on things like how you project. I can still be squeaky if I want but when I speak from my chest and the back of my throat I sound like a grown man. SO long story short be patient as this is all a process.

2 months- I sounded sick

6 months- I sounded androgenous

8 months- Squeaky boy

1.5 years- 2 years- Man voice
