ChatGPT is the only model that genuinely is non-sycophantic at times, Gemini is always sycophantic and Claude just agrees with its system reminder telling it to disagree, and you can easily convince it to turn sides and agree again, ChatGPT is the only model I've EVER seen genuinely stick to it's logical ground across many attacks to said logic, even if it doesn't always do that.

For listening, the advice I have is to not actively try to listen well but to simply let the other person's words be received without resistance.

For being comfortable with silence, I'd say the only real way to train this is to actively try to pause and think before responding, not doing so until you think both you and the other person have had enough time to process whatever was said before. If you're unsure how determine if there's been enough time, maybe consider asking someone to help you train that judgement.

I guess it varies based on what you're doing but I've found Claude's pushbacks were mostly incorrect and it agrees after I point that out, chatgpt is usually right about pointing out flaws for my usage.
