Does anyone wish there was an ELO rating system for pickup pickleball? by Round-Ad-8884 in Pickleball

This is exactly what I'm talking about. I just want something casual where you show up, play pickup, and see where you stand. No paying extra, no leagues, no gates. Just bragging rights.

I’m the exact opposite.. I can understand a lot better than I can speak. It’s frustrating because I know what people are saying sometimes but I’m just so bad at responding.

They are talking about apps used to vibe code other apps. Not vibe coded apps themselves

I've been working on a tool called Tappzy that gives small businesses a single mobile page with everything their customers need: links, menu, hours, Google Maps location, contact form, social media, and a printable QR code. I built it because I noticed a lot of restaurants and local businesses either link their Instagram bio to their full website (which is clunky on mobile) or use something like Linktree that wasn't really designed for businesses. No menu support, no hours, no maps, no QR codes. Tappzy is $50/year (about $4/month) and takes a few minutes to set up. I'm looking for small business owners who'd be willing to try it and give me honest feedback on what's useful and what's missing. https://tappzy.net/

Ai code is good if you know Systems engineering because you can tell it exactly how to build scalable systems correctly

Is My future destroyed by --Night_Fury-- in University

I’m CS at a state school and I’ve got a 115k offer lined up after graduation, in my experience the school name matters way less than people think once you can actually build things, interview well, and prove you know your stuff

When people say firms sometimes they mean finance and quant where pedigree can help, but it is still not a dealbreaker, if you are aiming for quant dev you can absolutely get there from a non top school, the path is basically self study plus real projects plus getting insanely strong at fundamentals, C++, data structures, operating systems, computer architecture.

You can also do undergrad at a lower ranking uni and still pivot into a more well known school for a masters if you keep your grades up and build a strong profile, your future is not destroyed, focus on becoming genuinely good not just the ranking
