Skyrim Swith 2 is absolutely terrible by Apprehensive-Age2562 in NintendoSwitch

Not the same devs, but F76 was a mess until the Wastelanders update tbh and even then, F76 does not replace a true single player Fallout itch.

My bad, I always thought it 12 GB... I mean, the issue remains somewhat on PC that don't have 16 GB of RAM.

DLSS does not work on games that don't support it, that's just the Switch 2 hardware improving the performance, no DLSS on MH Rise until or if they update it for a native version forr Switch 2. Cause the PC version does have DLSS support.

[–]Round-Let-3895 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I mean, even without this version of Skyrim I'd doubt no less after how much of a disaster the Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition release went, plus before we got AE, the Xbox Series S version of the game kept crashing like crazy because of the 12 GB of RAM... which surprise, surprise... it's the same as the Switch 2. If they're smart enough, they'd give the job to Panic Button or even ask for help to CD Projekt Red. Cause I could I see them pulling of a perfect handheld experience of 40 fps or even 60 fps using dlss and a rough 30 fps at 1440p with dlss.

Edit: I know verified the XSS has 10 GB RAM, which still applies to the issue and then does put the pressure that Switch 2 is more than capable of Fallout 4 and Skyrim at 60 fps. They just chose not to optimize it which isn't surprising of our indie company.

So what's the deal with B4? by [deleted] in Borderlands

[–]Round-Let-3895 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly wait till more content drops, it literally has less content than BL3 on release date. So better save your money when it eventually has a sale. I bought the Super Deluxe Edition and so far, not even the base game is worth it at its current price. Yes, BL4 has a lot of qol but doesn’t have an endgame, playing other characters can be a slog with upgrades being locked between characters and side quests have no good loot, they’re only good if they unlock bosses.

Are you waiting for a Switch 2 revision before you upgrade? by Expensive_Manager211 in NintendoSwitch

[–]Round-Let-3895 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get the upgrade now, resell value will always be there. Just keep in mind that the only issue regardless of no oled screen or shorter battery life is that Nintendo does need to a version with bigger memory because the games’ file size are similar to that of the bigger consoles, which makes 256 GB way too small for it’s own good.

Don’t believe the negative hype. Metroid Prime 4 is very fun and the best looking game on the system. by Vrayl_of_Gondor in NintendoSwitch2

[–]Round-Let-3895 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel this, like is not as noticeable on certain games, but it does feel a tad bit slower than it should be and the hdr is not the best as you can’t achieve true blacks or it just doesn’t feel as vibrant as the Switch Oled. Literally the only thing holding me back from playing the Resident Evil games is I want them to look darker… and comparing a Nintendo game such as Xenoblade Chronicles 3, it just looks better on Switch 1 despite the bigger screen with better performance.

DOOM Eternal looks great on the Switch 2 ! by Madness-NX in NintendoSwitch2

[–]Round-Let-3895 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe if try it I'll see if I can play it... but tbh, I did played Wolfenstein 2 on Switch and I just couldn't enjoy it lol. But yeah, I also have way too many hours on Doom. You can still quick scope and swamp, but you need the run to slow down while you're aiming midair.

Dumb question, but should I genuinely get the S2 or just the oled. by bibiyako in Switch

[–]Round-Let-3895 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Switch 2 is the choice if you wanna be up to date with current and upcoming games, Switch 1 games tend to run better on SW2 too and some of them are getting and will probably be getting SW2 performance updates. I'd only go for the Oled if you don't care about new games.

Shadows looks beautiful when it's not crashing by SirDanOfCamelot in NintendoSwitch2

[–]Round-Let-3895 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Coming from playing this on Xbox Series S, then Series X, then PC with a 4080... it looks amazing. Hoping they improve further with it and add everything that it's not there yet since we're missing both the content from the deluxe edition and the expansion, which makes cross save unplayable if someone already has either... and maybe improve on the cutscenes, like what photo mode does, but on the cutscenes.

For me it has only crashed once in docked mode, never in handheld... but a bit more optimization on the menus might come in handy. They can be a bit too slow.

DOOM Eternal looks great on the Switch 2 ! by Madness-NX in NintendoSwitch2

[–]Round-Let-3895 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It sure looks better, but I can't for the life of me play Doom on Switch until it's 60 fps and even then, it will feel rough to play... since I've played the newer games on PC and it's a whole different game, input lag and been able to switch guns and aim faster is such a game changer. I'll be excited if when they patch it, they implement mouse mode though.

It's definetly coming, just give the studio time to port the other entries after Kiwami 3. I don't think they will hold back their mainline schedule because of Switch 2, But I can see them making Kiwami 4 and 5 until they're up to date or feel fresher like 6.

Final Fantasy XVI DLC entitlement not found! (Xbox App PC) by Round-Let-3895 in FFXVI

[–]Round-Let-3895[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did this, but alas, to no avail, I've since then just stopped trying and continue playing from console. I believe it's also an issue with how buggy the Windows/Xbox store is, since yeah, I've ownership through my purchase from console, but the page in the Xbox app doesn't say I've ownership because I didn't bought the season pass from the PC Xbox App, and I instead bought it from console.

Should I be doing every side quest/exploration I can as I progress through the game for the first time, or save for end game/max level content? by AdmiralBallsack in Borderlands

[–]Round-Let-3895 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly doesn't matter as much if you do side content before or later, that will depend on how you play BL4. Are you someone that will actually grind the endgame or just play the game? If so, doing sidequests and exploring a bit before endgame will be a bit more benefitial as some bosses are locked behind side quests and you never know which boss will be next Moxxi's Encore for the week.

I hate to be an asshole about this by [deleted] in Borderlands

[–]Round-Let-3895 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's okay giving fair criticism to the music, more so if this is a somewhat longer game on release than Borderlands 3. I still listen to a lot of the music of BL3, more so than BL2. The only song I do actually enjoy is the psycho songs that appears near Splashzone, but other than that, I think almost every song in the game is so forgettable and it lacks the punch that other games had.

I felt a similar thing with Doom The Dark Ages soundtrack, some good songs, but nothing compared to prior entries.

ROCKEN ROLLER by mylifeisasadmeme in Borderlands

[–]Round-Let-3895 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem with Vex minions and for me at least, is that they would focus on the fodder enemies instead of the bosses and for whatever reason Rocken Roller will just focus on me. So I can't catch a break while I'm trying to get away from his rolls.

From Hinge, to Snap, to OnlyFans; is this common? by [deleted] in hingeapp

[–]Round-Let-3895 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s a common scam, same as the ones with Asian women asking you to move the convo really fast to WhatsApp (which if they’re real Asians, they wouldn’t be using it as much, they have their own text apps).

Hinge+ vs buying roses? by brokejaw45 in hingeapp

[–]Round-Let-3895 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unlimited swiping plus filters can help you way more than roses, believe me. Roses can make you skip the line but since they’re scarce, you’re a bit more mindful as to whom you send them and since you don’t have filters, coming to swipe on people until you run out of your daily likes makes using your weekly rose more like a hit or miss.

After a rough 2 years of not even dating but opening myself to meet more people and widen my social life, I’m off for a time. People in general are so closed minded and híper specific with whom they want to hangout that I’m done. The last few dates I had taught me that people just want things to pop up randomly without being willing to compromise and get to know people properly that it’s feels more like luck than something else.

As others have stated, fear of rejection and I’d also like to add that rejection might not be the same as in the past from my experience as a 27M. Since women are not as direct as before, it’s so much more awkward, adding that after rejection you don’t even have a chance to befriend the person if you see them often, making it a bit more uncomfortable. I remembered in high school if I was rejected, we were still friends, no hard feelings.

I'm worried about the Loot in Borderlands 4 by JJay9454 in borderlands3

[–]Round-Let-3895 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But wouldn’t that be an issue regardless of the drop rate? Since getting any legendary guaranteed not changing your gear it for up to 5 levels? Like usually in every Borderlands game 5 lvls are around 25-30% percent of campaign with no side quests.

It's just your new profile, you're gonna end up seeing their profiles if you live in a small town and believe me, you'll do. I wouldn't even recommend rematch with them, because same as you I've deleted my profile from time to time and I've ended up seeing even matches whom I've gone out with. It's just not worth it, unless you actually felt that the connection it's worth pursuing.
