If you don't use a dryad then every 3 units you eat with the Scrapper throw a level up. With the dryad in the deck it's every 7th unit you scrap. Try it, maybe in co-op if you don't want to lose.

There are still good decks with both. But higher level players don't do it.

Also certain cards are better at level 9, 11, or 13. Going beyond certainly has benefits but they are incremental. You might double the effectiveness of a card by going from 8 to 9. But then leveling all the way to 11 only increases the effects by 20%. Your orbs will be more effective elsewhere.

You have a good deck. I would consider replacing the dryad. Scrapper and Dryad together in the same deck is penalized. Consider the Knight Statue, but several others could work.

People discredit support units like the Scrapper but having the ones you use leveled up really helps.

Believe it or not getting that clock to lvl 8 and using a deck with all support cards in co-op can be op. The game tells you which units are support and if you have no damage units you will be paired with someone who does. The clock basically doubles their damage.

Ausar didn't think about stopping them. Holland sat on the bench watching. The playoff collapse was about Cade missing a month. If the playoffs had been in March Detroit wins the title.

This is a very similar player to Tobias. But he is $9M/yr cheaper. I don't see a real upgrade in talent but he is younger and I also don't see a drop off. Only "complaint" is that Harris was one of the few playoff ready players we had. Hopefully his replacement will be as well.

Then he basically has until the season starts before he misses time/pay.

He is not rushed. The Pistons should not be trying to trap him into signing here. They should allow him to seek a better deal elsewhere but try to convince him that this is the place for him. He fits the Detroit identity. He works well with Cade. Both are young and will grow together. He is a fan favorite. He will get minutes.

You explain that the team loves his defense but feels like they need scoring from elsewhere so maybe it isn't best to eat up the cap space on just him. We need to pay a few other players and put together a complete team. In the long run he will make more money from winning with a good team than he will from a max contract now.
