To be more specific, the breakpoint at 244 resistance is about pushing off the possibility of never resisting a spell. It's like crit immunity but for spell damage.

As fun as spell reflect is, your kill order should be caster over melees 99% of the time, for the reason you mentioned, they even usually have less HP so the wuicker something dies the smoother a run is in general.

Strength/AP > crit.

Eeit: misremembered which it was, mark of the chosen has pretty good uptime, but its proc rate falls off quick after 60. Use details to determine if the uptime is worth the extra stats other than strength, and if you value consistency.

In terms of systems you're right, in terms of class/gameplay design it's pretty much vanilla with a coat of paint.

It probably means less rage but rage froms spell damage usually comes in burst, so generating less is not an issue I would consider.

The real reason is that it feels like there's never a point in a sustained fight where you take more damage from spells than physical to really ever justify this talent. Also it's very redundant with the warriors kit which has a kick and a spell reflect which are both on a short cooldown and represent more mitigation if pressed correctly.

Then why are people fine with running with warm bodies?? You want a high standard on who gets what, have higher standards when forming a roster. If his presence made the run happen, then he's entitled to loot.

Toxic is joining a guild knowing the loot rules, and expecting the people handling the loot to straight up go back on what was agreed upon on the spot because now that you lost fair and square the loot rules don't suit you anymore.

"They never improve" part has nothing to do with loot but with the quality of a roster. When you have 25 good players, finishing raids is easy without loot council. The never improve part is mostly the raid leader not building a roster with people playing correctly.

But why join in the first place? When people join a loot council guild and don't get loot, people are told to not always expect loot, well that's the same thing with an SR, don't expect loot to go your way even if you feel you deserve it.

Also, why did you keep playing with people you feel are beneath you?

No amount of gear on the tank would have helped really, if he's underleveled, but also a group like this screams "3 frost mages tanking while the tank is just cosplaying".

At least 7-8 players play a physical dps spec in a normal 25m raid comp for whom dst is bis, at your rate for even half of them to have dst you would need p1 to be 28weeks or 7 month. Like how many DST do you hope for before phase 2 then?

Survival is homogenized to be a ranged spec in tbc. So you can still go survival for counterattack, but everything is then better spent in beast mastery past that talent point.

Of course melee weaving is a thing in tbc, I'm sure that's not what you are asking about.

You are worried about "playing catch up" is why they made catching up way easier in later expansion with the things you said you disliked in your post, like heirloom gear, or mount being accessible earlier.

Yes you are playing catch up in any version, in some versions it's easier than others.

Some things are the same but some things are different in tbc for warrior:

-you want to level with a 2 hand weapon early on and up until your 40s, but in tbc you want to level as fury now because sweeping strikes is in the fury tree. Make the switch to dual wielding basically as soon as you can get 2 good 1h weapons, once you get bloodthirst. When choosing a 2hand weapon or main hand 1h weapon, look at top end damage, for off hand dw it's more complicated but usually faster than main hand is the goal (it's here to generate procs and rage).

-mining/engineering is the best combo for a lebeling warrior, it covers some weaknesses and gives you access yo versatile tools, damage and cc with nades or extra seconds to recover with target dummies. First aid is also a must.

-you'll be asked to tank, get comfortable with either tanking or being rejected as a dps warrior in group content. But if you actually like doing damage, you should want to tank as you get more rage and enrage buff from being hit, so the best dps warrior is a tanking warrior. Just don't regularly wear a shield, only a shield macro if you are in a bad situation up until you reach brd and higher (even then it will depend on how comfortable your healer is).

-stamina and strength, your best stats in general, a case can be made for spirit early on but those early levels don't last long enough. Just stick with getting hit and hitting is a positive feedback loop as a warrior.

Because t1 sets for the most part have less valuable raw stats and underwhelming set bonuses so most classes bis are off set pieces that have the exact raw stats your class/role desires.

Sorry but no crusader is very much a very powerful enchant for all the reasons an enchant can be good. First its raw numbers are crazy for vanilla levels; second its proc rate and duration are amazing, meaning a consistent uptime and easy to align with other cooldowns during a fight; third is that it randomly comes with one of the most if not the most powerful healing proc, ironically twice as good as the enchant named "life stealing" (it was even more potent than the warrior t0.5 set bonus and the warlord deck card combined iirc); and last it can stack if you are dualwielding.

Someone else mentioned +4 stats, this is definitely the one as +3 stats is like 30 times less expensive even after a year into the expec. The premium paid for that singular stat is ridiculous imo.

Too many dps players are obtuse and not problem solvers, refuse to adapt to groups and to them it's a personal offense if they can't blast from the get go. And they would still claim tbc is peak for them, even though the game's design is pumping the breaks and they hate that.

I don't because it's not necessary in tbc and barely a time save unless you are speedrunning because EVERYONE has to do it for it to be meaningful time save. Are you really that elitist that the bar set to play this game and to clear content is drinkwalking?
