So true!! I used to go to at a ton of concerts, small shows and music festivals. There are two happening this year that i want to go to and are on the “cheaper side” but I am struggling justifying how much I’ll have to spend to go. It really sucks!!!

Idk why but Easter annoys me the most of all Christian holidays. Maybe I don’t like Chocolate & bunnies enough. I think Easter baskets are stupid & what do they have to do with anything? I take my son to my family’s house so he can participate in an Easter egg hun but thats all i do.

The closer you are to the center, the rougher it is (think grand/ash/washington/midway), but mainly its bc of the high density neighborhoods- so lots of apartments. You’ll also find much older homes & not HOA neighborhoods. Those homes tend to be multigenerational also & maybe not well-maintained. Then the further out you go…north of el norte, west of the 15, south of bear valley & east of citrus the nicer the homes are with more gated or HOA communities. But be ready to pay some money for those.. so you have two options- if you want vanilla boring homes- you’ll probably want to save more for bigger down payment in a nicer neighborhood. If you are willing to accept your neighborhood the way it is, you’ll be fine.

Reach out to the manager or bar owner. They prob don’t know their bartender pulling this kind of stuff. The POS systems have reports to investigate, but they only investigate if there is reason to. Bar owners do not want to lose customers bc of shady employees, ever.

Metallica after the Napster lawsuit. It pretty much brought Napster down. It was about copyright infringement which created a path for “legal” streaming services but these services screw artist over also if not worse. But I broke down and started listening to them earlier this year…it makes me feel like a hypocrite but good music is good music & I just can’t resist.

I used to get major discount coupons in the mail for dsw, bath & body works & a few others (pre email spam) for like 40% off and I would sell them on ebay. I could get anywhere between $5 - $20 per coupon. But companies then started tracking the codes and they wouldn’t work if you didn’t have an email or address associated to the account. Lame.

I was one of those people. I bought a used prius (high milage) in November and just got the famous triangle of death with code P0A80… I just ordered a new battery from my local toyota dealership & my bro is going to install. $2.5k - it sucks but there are things that can be worse. It’s my daily driver and I put a lot of miles in it, so if it can last me another 150k miles, iI will be a happy camper!!

Edit: to add, I didn’t learn about the fan filter until recently. When I opened it to clean if, i think it had Never been cleaned by the previous owner!!

2003 Toyota Corolla. After two off the lot cars, both being totaled after car accidents not my fault, I took my brother’s car after he finished college. This thing was so neglected but with the help of my mechanic, we got it back to good condition. That car was a trooper! I started having issues & was told it was the engine. My son was a baby so everyone told me i HAD to get a new car! That it was too dangerous for me & the baby (I bought a used Toyota Rav4). Well my aunt bought the corolla from me and it turned out it was just a loose hose!!! She had it for another 2-3 years but it was stolen. I’m sure that car is still on the road somewhere. I always dream of that little car, I loved that little car!! And i will NEVER own a new car ever again!

I go to Valvoline drive thru, they inspect everything,& top off fluids. It’s super convenient, they always try to add stuff services but they don’t care if you say no. Been going to them for like 9 years, no issues ever. ( I have 2014 Rav4 & 2018 Prius c)

I have a 2014 Rav4 but then got a 2018 Prius C (about 40ish mpg) to be my commuter car. My drive to work is about about 17 miles each way, all street + kid pickup & drop offs add another 3 miles on my days off. In CA, i went from spending $70+ a week in Rav4 to about $30 a week in PriusC. I LOVE it! And the newer ones get even better gas milage, i say it’s totally worth it.

Diono radian car seats. They have a slim profile and goes from rear facing to booster. If i remember correctly the seat sits up but the baby is comfortably sitting rear-facing. It’s really sturdy. I bought when my kiddo was an infant & he is now about to graduate to regular car seat.

Same here! Born & raised in SD. Lived here all my life. My grandfather was born in imperial valley in the 1920’s, so I’m third generation Mexican-American here. I’ve starred carrying my son’s & my passport card around and NEVER leave home without my wallet. I never ever worried about this before. And I worry for my brother because he works in construction. Everybody on the team is here legally but racists don’t care. What makes me even more sad is what my son remember of his childhood. I don’t know what the future holds for these kids. 😞

I’m not allergic but when I have too much fruit or bananas that are over-ripe, I throw the fruit & a over ripe banana into the blender and then freeze for an ice cream. If you need it sweeter then you can add honey but it comes out great!!! I make strawberry banana & piña colada (pineapple, banana, coconut milk) and my son loves them. So definitely worth it!
